I appreciate the fact that I can go into Von Walter & Funk and find the unique gifts that I need for certain occasions. I've purchased unique Christmas gifts (antique depression glass salt and pepper shakers), birthday presents (a fussy coffee table book with photos of the dogs of Paris), and a wedding gift (vintage mid-century cocktail glasses and matching glass ice bucket, all in a custom carrier) there. I've also found cards that were perfect for the occasion (for example, a Mrs. and Mrs. wedding card).

Von Walter + Funk is a special, inspiring space that invites curiosity and playfulness the moment you step inside. This morning I stopped by for last minute assistance with balloons I’d purchased for a Star Wars themed company event. Alicia talked me through creative options with kindness and delight. Although our schedules ultimately didn’t align, she suggested other retailers and gave me some DIY inspiration, along with a little clear string to bring it to life. Another great experience with Funk Balloons! This is the second time I’ve had the pleasure of working with Funk Balloons for birthday celebrations. It’s easy to order, schedule a drop off or delivery, and the balloon designs add SO much to elevate and add a pop of vibrant color to the party! I especially loved the balloon “clouds” they make with the varying sizes and fun shapes. My favorite part is — it’s all the decor I need, and not having to worry about figuring out other decor pieces is a huge relief (I’m busy enough as is)! 5/5 will work with Funk...
