I love the 40th St./Washington Crossing Bridge! For one, it's super convenient to get between Lawrenceville and Millvale on foot or on bike. There is a very nice path/ramp coming off the bridge into Millvale that is fun to ride down. The bridge has beautiful views of the Allegheny River and Downtown Pittsburgh, both during the night or during the daylight hours. It's great to see the clouds coming over the river and reflecting on the water. I also really enjoy the historical element of the bridge (George Washington crossed the river here on a raft in 1753).
