Cool little place to see a band. Came to see Pale Waves tonight, and they did not disappoint. What a great show! The entrance looked a little like a cattle chute, but the downstairs was spacious. My one gripe is that the sound system is a bit loud so the bass fuzzes out on heavy lows. The street parking is a mess; there isn’t any, so you might have to park and walk a few blocks. I would come back if another band I wanted to see played here.

The upstairs bar is pretty average. The bar tender was very nice and considerate. Drinks and food were competitive, but the layout and decor were rather dated. The downstairs bar/venue were excellent, however. An unsuspecting quality music venue is hidden below this bar. Extra points for supporting live local music. I wish more places did this.

Sidequest has great food and bar service and has fast become myself and my friends go-to spot for partying after shows or when SideQuest IS the show.

We went to the 1st drag brunch there. The show and queens were awesome. But the other side, the service was really slow and the food menu seemed good untill you got it, it was just OK and one of them was cold. It also was not what was on the brunch menu- hashbrown waffle was not a waffle, breakfest burrito missing half the ingredients. Also, how can you have brunch and not offer coffee?

I fully understand it's their first time having this. We just felt on the venues side it was all last minute preparing for it.

We are writing this to hope for them to learn and improve in the future because the space is nice.

Also those...

If I could give it four and a half stars I would. I know that goths and cigarettes are kind of a given but I am unfortunately a fan of smoke free zones.

As far as a venue it's good. Parking in the neighborhood can be a little rough and the hallways are a little small and probably a little difficult to navigate with mobility aids.

The venue is very small and intimate. You can see the stage from the bar.

They have a moderate drink, beer, and food menu.

Overall it was pretty nice and I would begrudgingly enjoy coming here...

No complaints. Convenient bathrooms that worked, basement bar with cheap drafts and expensive beer. Saw Sheer Terror, Negative Approach and Phobia here at their basement stage. Excellent sound quality, but not painfully loud. Though when eyehategod, the headliner came on, i sat down back by the bar and their music did an annoying vibraty pain thing to my ears so i went upstairs. Good exercise on those stairs lol. Little pricy on the ticket but not sure if that's them or the...
