On October 27, 2024, a guest and I dined at Industry Public House in Lawrenceville. The industrial-chic decor and warm lighting created a welcoming atmosphere, and we were excited to try a variety of dishes thanks to the generous portion sizes, which made sharing easy.
We started with the Ahi Tuna appetizer, which was beautifully presented and had a fresh, flavorful taste that paired well with a light sauce. The Loaded Pierogies were a treat, topped with caramelized onions, cheese, and bacon—a true comfort food experience with a twist.
For entrees, the Arsenal Chicken Salad was a solid choice, with fresh greens, grilled chicken, and a nice mix of veggies, cheese, and dressings on the side.
The Thai Chicken Flatbread initially looked promising with its array of toppings, but the taste fell short. It was rather bland and dry, and it lacked a sauce that could have elevated the overall flavor. Similarly, the Grilled Mahi Tacos had a kick of spice but were also dry and underwhelming, again missing any sauce to balance the heat and enhance the dish.
Industry Public House has a unique selection of cocktails that will appeal to those who enjoy creative mixed drinks. However, the wine selection left something to be desired, especially for sweet wine enthusiasts. Most of the options leaned toward dry or mixed with mildly sweet elements, but they didn’t quite capture the natural sweetness I prefer in a wine.
Service was prompt and friendly. Nikki, our server, made sure everything was just right, providing recommendations and checking in without being intrusive.
The Harvest Pear Fizz—a unique cocktail that added a fun twist to the meal.
In closing, the Industry Public House offers a lively spot with an extensive cocktail menu, but a few tweaks in flavor and wine variety could make the dining experience...

We found this place on Google and the listing looked awesome. So while browsing through Lawrenceville we decided to stop. Upon entering we were greeted by what we believed to be the manager. There was a hostess standing next to him checking for tables and she completely ignored us.
The manager then sat us, brought us some menus and waters and went back to the hostess stand. My partner and I continued to review the menu and made our selections. After waiting more than 10 minutes I flagged down said manager and let him know no one had come over to take our order. He said, “that’s upsetting” and had a server come over a couple minutes later. I do want to note that we were sitting in a section with others who were receiving service and servers were walking by our table with no intention of talking to us or greeting us. After we ordered we waiting 25 minutes for our appetizer to come out and during that time a father/daughter sat next to us. They also waited 10 minutes for service to no avail. They ended up walking out. 20 minutes after that table left the manager came over, saw the empty table and confirmed with us if they had in fact walked out. 45 minutes later our food finally comes out, our server never actually stopped at our table to see how we were doing only asked walking by as she went to service other tables.
Note: We did end up tipping our server because I don’t believe in tipping zero BUT I did really...

Luckily the very nice and only hostess we spoke to sat us within 10 minutes towards the left of their restaurant which we loved since we have a very active 1 year old. We were sat next to a table of 10+ people all very well dressed for a special occasion. Besides the one hostess we spoke to to sit us down, we were not spoken to. Not only did nobody take even our drink order after 30 minutes, there were at least 5 people serving the big table next to us which is understandable due to the size but NOBODY had approached our family for at least drinks. There were many people passing and serving the table next to us, walking back and forth from the main dining area to the kitchen, and even sweeping next to our table and mopping. We felt like the waitresses were not even acknowledge if us due to the big table with everybody dressed up. We were completely ignored. I’m not sure who the manager is since this was our first time here but the amount of dust flying up into our faces was disgusting. 1 out of 5 starts. Only rating it a 1 star because the hostess that sat us was very nice and when we walked out I mentioned this to her and she very nicely apologized and mentioned she made the waitress aware we sat down and was shocked nobody came to take our order within the 30 minutes we were there....
