The Coin Corner — Local services in Placentia

I have spent many years collecting coins, silver and gold - I have been to every shop in the area many times over.

The Coin Corner, under Dave and Sandy's management, has been the absolute gold standard (sorry, pun intended) for what a coin shop should be. They are loving, kind and honest people who would likely laugh at me for writing a review this gushing - but I don't even think what I am saying is enough.

Dave is a straight shooter. He will tell you the honest value of what you have - won't rip you off - and will likely give you a better offer than you'll get elsewhere. He offers appraisals without pressure.

They also have Penny, who is my favorite dog on Earth. I will attach a picture for proof.

Coming to the Coin Corner is a weekly ritual for me - I do it every Saturday and it is the highlight of my week. A restorative, peaceful place where I can invest for my future and love the time I spend here in the present. The folks that run this establishment are among the best people I know and I am honored to call them my friends.

I brought in all quizzes coins that I’ve been collecting over the years because my mom just gave me a bunch that she thought might be worth a little something. They treated me like family. They welcomed me and they were honest with me. I did not feel rushed. They took their time with me and wrote down how much each one the value is there’s a couple that I decided to keep and not sell at this time but some of them the price is so good I couldn’t pass it up I highly recommend them and I’m not steer you wrong and then I have a diamond. I wanted to know the value of that they weren’t able to tell me that but they did send me to a place that could tell me that so they told me what they could, and then when they couldn’t they redirected me highly recommend them Dave and Tom...

I stopped into this nice little gem yesterday to sell some silver that I had purchased a decade ago and was given a very reasonable price for them. I had the opportunity to meet the very nice owner and the other very helpful gentleman that work there. The store is wonderfully decorated with a very diverse collection of different precious metals. They have the usual bullion at very competitive prices and they also have constitutional silver for potential barter. They also have graded coins, collectibles and bars. And they are stocked with the major metal groups Gold silver Platinum and other metals. I would recommend anybody in or out of the area to check out this wonderful store.
