Laughable experience. I had a bunch of items because I am moving, and this is the only place I can afford to stock up on items I need. I live in Tahoe so I don’t have access to a dollar store. I approached the register and told everyone else checking out to go ahead of me, apologized to the cashier for having so many items, and was as friendly and kind as possible. The older man who worked the register was clearly very annoyed, but I completely understood. He asked me if I wanted my items bagged, strange because I had so many items, you’d assume I would need bags, but by his tone he clearly didn’t want to do so, so I said I wouldn’t mind just carrying the cart out to my car, and said he didn’t need to wrap any of the glass stuff. He’s very angrily scanning my things, tossing them and giving me dirty looks. Whole time I’m bent over the counter grabbing my items putting them in my cart as he throws them. Making him do as minimal work as possible to not be a bother. He finishes ringing me up and is clearly angry. I go to walk out the door and what he failed to tell me is that you CANNOT BRING THE CARTS OUTSIDE THE STORE. (I’m not familiar with the cart poles) So he watched me fill the entire cart with items knowing I couldn’t take them to my car as I said I was going to do. As I stand next to the door and move everything one by one to the floor and baskets, he doesn’t offer me bags. So rude and bitter, maybe shouldn’t a cashier if you’re going to be unkind to people for...

I would say it seems smaller, but size wise, I guess it's pretty much on par, it just doesn't seem to have as much selection of a lot of things that some other locations may have. It's not in the best part of town. There are always a few shady characters lurking about. It's also usually pretty messy inside. It doesn't help that the building and fixtures are pretty old and not in their peak of shape.
Overall - it will do when you just need a quick run, but, of you have the option, I would head west down 50 and try...
Read moreI was only there to buy greeting cards and dog toys. With greeting cards being .50 each I can afford to send my dad, who is in a nursing home, a card every week to brighten his day. These stores are extremely helpful for low income households. Especially with the price of things these days. Ill be going there more often now that groceries and gas are getting out of reach for many people. I always see alot of seniors shopping the isles. Thank you Dollar Tree for providing products most...
