I chose BC for two reasons. The consult would be helpful (I wouldn’t be walking in for a lymphatic massage without them knowing about each procedure I received), and they could start my care quickly. First, they told me I would need the 20-session package but never explained there were other options. This package cost me $3500 but included machines to help with swelling and scar healing. The language barrier was a huge issue. The gentleman at the front desk spoke English, and the woman who did my consult spoke decent English, but I quickly learned that most of the staff spoke very little English, if any at all. I was unable to get an explanation of the care I was receiving. At each session, I would ask what the “machines” did, and the answer every single time, regardless, would be “It helps fat go away.” or “It’s so good for your skin.” If I asked what the treatment plan was for the day, the answer was always, “Um…Lipo.” They have a couple of different treatments/machines that felt like I was being burned or shocked, and when I verbalized this, they did not stop. Each time they would pull out that machine, I would verbalize that I didn’t like it and didn’t want to do it. On one occasion, the woman that day said, “Only 20 Minutes.”, then left the room. I watched the time, and she returned 35 minutes later. Over time the lymphatic massages became shorter in length. Some of them would last 5-8 minutes for my entire torso, while the session in total was 90 minutes. My final straw was during my 13th session when the 5-minute lymphatic massage caused my incision to open. I had an area on my tummy tuck incision/scar that was inflamed from a deep suture, which is common with the procedure I had done, but also very visible and could not have been missed during a massage. As I dressed afterward, I noticed this area was now black. They had caused it to bleed internally and bruise immediately. Unfortunately, there was nobody to inform on my way out that day. Within 48 hours, the area opened up. I covered the area with a bandage before my 14th session, and I notified my surgeon, who immediately started me on antibiotics and a care plan. Belleza Colombiana did not acknowledge the bandage or even ask why I had it on. I notified them afterward that I would be canceling my six remaining sessions and requested a refund. They quickly placed blame and said I would need to return so that THEY could monitor my wound. After explaining that my surgeon was already doing that, they told me that I should have notified “the manager” as soon as I noticed an issue. I had to explain that I was never informed of who the manager was, nor was I formally introduced to ANYONE, and after I noticed it, the only person I saw on my way out was the receptionist. Then they asked why I didn't tell the woman that worked with me at my last session, and I had to explain that she did not speak any English and was only with me for a total of 8 minutes for the massage, as the rest of my 90-minute session was spent alone, under lights. Finally, they told me I had signed a contract for no refund, which is true, but they eventually decided to refund me, which I am thankful for. Everyone was pleasant, but the language barrier was a significant issue. Upon canceling, I was told the manager was “the red-haired lady,” and I found that funny considering at the start of my 14th session, she was the one that called me back to a treatment room, and when I asked what the plan was for the day her response was, “um…Lipo…and um, I don’t know.” Considering one of my surgical procedures was Lipo-360, being told that so many treatments were “Lipo” was very frustrating. They have a lot of money invested in providing contouring treatment and machines they use, but I would steer clear if you do not speak Spanish and/or need post-op care. Looking back, I would have researched before my surgery and when I was not under the influence...

The owner, licensed physical therapist (Dora) spends a lot of time to best understand patient's needs then specializes treatments to optimize fast healing. Compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. Knew exactly the appropriate (latex free) Faja and boards that were needed, in stock at Belleza, Saving a lot of time and money from having to order online or run around Dallas to buy the appropriate Faja and boards. I appreciate Dora is hands-on. She checks on her patients daily to be sure they're comfortable and to assist with whatever is needed or answer questions. All the massage therapist are licensed physical therapist. I don't have a favorite. I'm usually really picky about who I'll go to for nails or hear but when at Belleza I know I'm in good hands no matter what Therapist is providing lymphatic massage or other therapies specific to my postop needs. They happily and humbly have helped get undressed and dressed. That is a huge help, especially when recovering from surgery. Dora provides a lot of extras at no cost. Always greeted with Arnica hot tea. Provides disposable robes and undergarments. The entire spot is very clean. It's large enough for lots of privacy. I feel safe and comfortable. Everyone is very encouraging and positive. Going through post-op, is a roller coaster of emotions, with good and bad days...while healing. I greatly appreciate everyone being positive cheerleaders, emotionally, and spiritually. Adora and her therapist truly do care about their patients! I chose to buy a package. BEST VAULE! Nowhere, could I get, for $200 a visit, 1hr lymphatic massage, along with one or two additional tailored services for my postop fastest recovery. Seriously, going to a massage parlor cost (minimum) $100 plus a tip for regular massage! That doesn't include red light therapy, ultrasound therapy, detox therapy or any other additional therapies! I would actually pay more because I have tried other postop care in Dallas, in the past, after losing 100 pounds and having skin removal surgeries. This has been my absolute most positive experience with fastest results for comfort! Surgery is hard enough, and I cannot think Dora and all of her Massage Therapist for their compassionate care and positive attitude. I'm extremely grateful. It's also been very helpful for all the inflammation after having L5 S1 back fusion. I would highly recommend and trust Dora's experience and knowledge to help you come up with a plan for fastest recovery and comfort. Worst place ever!! They stole $1,000 just for 2 massages of 1 hr and 30 minutes between my sister and I. I went with my sister to this place like 3 weeks ago when I just had 7 days after my procedure and my sister had 11 days of hers. We stilled very swelling,uncomfortable and in pain all we wanted was some relief with the massages so the girl who attended me took me to a room for evaluation and asked me to get unclothed which I did and just got paper underwear when I was clothe less all she did was talking real bad about the procedures done in Miami and how the people who gave me my first massages where traumatizing my body and I felt really scared thinking that they did everything wrong and attempt to my safety for the way the perform my operation now that I think with less discomfort she new what she was doing she brain washed me making me there was the only and the perfect place to fix everything that previous massager could do wrong. I felt so much pain at that time and she talked about the packages they had only 2 one for $5,500 and the other for $3,500 and gave me no more options and as I said I really needed a massage to feel some relief she asked me to sign the contract and give $500.00 as a Down payment which I did to receive the massage. Next day I realize clinic was too far away from me almost 1hr drive looked for a closes one and I found it 20 minutes,I call belleza colombiana clinic and explained them their clinic was really far from me and due my pain I could be going that far. And asked for my re found just taking what was the cost for the massage the day before.. And they denied just saying I had sign the contract and was not re foundable. I truly believe this clinic just take advantage of the people who gets there in pain looking for some relief. Same history with my sister.
