7/2025 Update- 3 stars(original was 5) The service is just a little bit worse than the time before, every time we come. We just came for father's day. Arrived at 330. 20 minute wait. Not bad, it's a holiday. So that's fine. But our meal for our table of 6 (grandma, husband and I, and three kids: 7, 13,15) took 5 minutes shy of 2 hours. Took VERY long for certain menu items to get to the table. Wait time for dessert alone was literally 30minutes. This time and the time before, we were not provided upon seating with napkins, cutlery/chopsticks, etc. Had to request napkins after first coarse were brought. Soy sauces at table were empty and food was arriving well before we were brought stocked bottles. Avocados were past their prime. The cucumber wrapped rolled were not fully peeled and were half hollow. The masago nigiri were so overfilled with rice that the seaweed wasn't wrapped all way around and the rice was rounded above the top edge of the seaweed. They served my 7 year with weird tangy spicy ketchup with his strips and fries (had to request actual ketchup). The sashimi was fresh and thick which I appreciated. We had mixed feelings at the table about the new short ribs. I enjoyed them, husband and grandma had chewy pieces.
It's loud.
Fryer is not cooking hot enough for their dessert tempuras.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE provide legitimate napkins.
We are going to shop round for a different AYCE place to try next time.
ORIGINAL REVIEW- 5 stars This restaurant has got to give their competitors stress. The high level of customer service paired with the value and quality of the food makes this a 5 star dining experience. This restaurant is very close to my husband‘s office and he’s been wanting to check it out. We came specifically to give their all-you-can-eat sushi a try.
So obviously when it comes to an all-you-can-eat type place you lower your expectations, right? In this instance that's entirely unnecessary. The items offered with the all-you-can-eat meal were fantastic; neither quality nor fish portions were spared. The specialty rolls were perfectly designed and you’ve got to try the Naruto (with salmon) and Red Dragon rolls. The presentation is so lovely for all items.
Seth took great care of us. He was very attentive and visited us several times. He gave great advice about the menu and treated us like friends. A 50% tip almost didn’t seem like enough. The food comes out very quickly and is perfectly cool or hot as it should be per the menu.
6/1/24 For dinner the pricing was about $35 per adult. Your first house beverage(sake, beer, wine) is included. They have pricing for children that ranges from I believe $6 for four-year-old’s all the way up to $25ish for 12-year-olds.
We arrived at about 645pm and were told it would be a 25 minute wait, but we were seated after only 15.
I can’t stress enough how delicious this food was. My husband and I have eaten a lot of sushi ranging from grocery store to high-end. This restaurant easily sits in the top 10% and the price absolutely baffles us! What great food and service at an...
Read moreThere are a lot of things wrong with this place. It lacked identity. First of all, Japanese and seafood fusion? Really? Japanese food already has seafood incorporated in it. It's like saying, "Italian and pasta fusion".
Ok, when It came to the atmosphere, the inside looked more like a steakhouse type restaurant than sushi. Their chairs are comfortable though.
We were greeted by a snobby receptionist guy though. He brought us to our table and did not explain how their lunch special is all you can eat stuff. Our server, Dough was amazing. He was nice and had a very pleasant vibe on him. We think he's just hired by the wrong company or establishment. I liked him. He was the redeeming part of the place.
The menu: the menu was atrocious. It looked like a fast food menu instead of a restaurant menu. The vibe if the restaurant is trying to be all "posh" but the menu design was very fast foody... Weird.
The food: food was horrible. We ordered tuna tatake, snow white roll, Eel roll dragon roll, Caterpillar roll, masa roll. Their rolls were horrible. They just made sure to stuff the rolls with as much fillers as they can to stuff the customers full. They overdid it with the imitation crab.. I swear.. barely any fresh meat in them. I'm surprised the avocado was still green tbh. I also had the shrimp tempura. Costco's frozen shrimp tempura was better than this place. The miso soup was salty water with tofu. The only. And only thing that I enjoyed from the whole experience was the red bean ice cream. It was good. And the chocolate ice cream. The mango ice cream used syrups so it was bad.
Conclusion: this restaurant would have been better off as a steak house than a sushi place. A literal insult to Japanese food. I'm sure they can get away with this and make profit from people who don't know any better but it won't last too long, sooner or later, people are going to catch on about how terrible this place is and there are better options around the neighborhood for a cheaper price. Not only that but the system around how their servers operates, bring food back in forth in an all you can eat lunch menu is horrible. They can easily lose track of the orders too which was annoying. I would not recommend this place to anyone in my close family. If I do mention it, I won't have good things to say.
Actually hoping this place would transition into a streak...
Read moreI don't usually leave reviews, but I couldn't find any contact info for the company. I would much rather have discussed this incident with a reasonable team member. Very unfortunate experience because I loved this place. Never going back after this horrendous visit. 30 minute wait to start. Which is abnormal for 1 pm on a Tuesday, but, I get it... holiday week... got through the first round of food orders before receiving my beverage that came with the meal... short staffed, so I waited patiently, never complaining. Then, once ready to pay and leave... couldn't, because I was still waiting on my son's ice cream. 30 minutes waiting on this ice cream. When I finally couldn't wait any longer I asked for the check. The server agreed to give us the scoop of ice cream in a to-go container so my son could eat it in the car. The manager came to say, no, because it's their policy that you can't have any to go containers with AYCE. I understand that fully, but it also shouldn't take 30 minutes to get a scoop of ice cream, plus, the server had already agreed. I HAD to leave and the manager wouldn't run my card to let me pay. He kept standing in my face wanting to discuss their policy. I asked him repeatedly to run my card so I could leave. Finally, had to chase down our server to run our card so we could leave. He physically followed me and kept trying to discuss their policies. I paid, tipped my server, and walked out of the restaurant. He followed me outside continuing to ask to speak with me. He was extremely unprofessional and the worst manager I've ever encountered. Also, when he came to my table to tell me I couldn't have ice cream to go, that was the first time I had seen him in the almost 2 hours I'd been in the establishment. My poor server was trying so hard to keep up with all the tables and the fact that they were severely understaffed and he never came for a table touch or bothered to help her at all. We will never be coming back...
