I was swarmed like sharks at the Sisley cosmetic counter at Willow bend mall at Neimans. My husband asked me what I wanted for my birthday. We went to the Sisley counter and i was excited to try this makeup that I had never heard of before made in France. I told them that I'd be in on Tuesday to pick it up. The things I pre-ordered. When I got to the store the worker was upstairs starting to mail things to me that I did not order! From another brand! I never left the Sisley counter yet I ended up with a $140 dollar bottle of sunscreen which I never had even seen and I'm allergic to sunscreen! Plus a $110 bottle of rose water setting spray! No! I didn't order that either! And told them I'd pick it up and not to mail it to me. I was confused at the $800 plus order. They distracted me with freebies (plus I'm suffering with pain at moment so i am in a wheelchair) and gifts with purchases, talking too much at me etc. Totally ripping me off for their commission! It was hell trying to return the items because they didn't want to lose the commission. I had to call Neimans customer service to dispute the incident and get my money back. The worker for Sisley kept sending me rude texts demanding i send her a picture of the receipt using exclamation points. Like this !!!!! I was in the hospital and couldn't. I told her that but she kept on with rude texts. The representative of Sisley actually lied to me selling me plain concealer when I asked for under eye color corrector to hide dark circles. She told me it was the item I asked for but it was not. The base makeup costing $275 is the wrong color and they would not take it back nor exchange it for the right one. They are very dishonest and I'll never shop at Neimans again. They are too greedy and lie. Plus adding things to my purchase that I'd never buy in the first place. They pretend to be nice and festive but it's only a distraction. They need to be fired or at least talked to about it with being reprimanded for their dishonesty. Basically stealing from me and my husband's generosity. I went to another store and bought Clinique and Estee Lauder! I got a ton of makeup for a fraction of the over priced Sisley! Sisley is totally overrated! The makeup i bought from another store is amazing and way better than Sisley. Never Neimans again. It was a horrible experience. It makes me cringe looking back. I can see the "dishonest car salesmen" in their eyes. I bought Estee Lauder, Clinique and Lancome for half that price because of the blockbusters that they sell this time of year. Clinique makes my face like silk! Sisley and their people are fake. Over priced and a disgusting display of greed. Good bye Neimans! They call it "needless markup"...
Read moreThis was the worst experience that I have encountered dealing with Neiman Marcus. I received a email that my item was delivered and I was at curb side to pick it up. First the lady came to the vehicle and was very rude telling me that she couldn’t get a manger, and than finally said I had to come into the store after she looked into the bag to see what I was picking up was a $2500 purse that I ordered for my wife on Mother’s Day. She was on the phone already telling the lady that it didn’t have my name on it and it had a different address. Ok for one it had a different first name but the same last name. Which I never had this problem before picking it up anything with my name or my wife first name on it but since I was Black and after she looked into the bag to see what I was picking up it became a problem. I was explaining to them that I ordered this in paying for this and if u look it’s on my account or you can call and verify. DID THEY DO ANY OF THAT??? Hell no!!! They just told me you have to come in with your wife. So after a hour and half of arguing with them I went and set in my vehicle and decided to call affirm myself and see why this has happened. They apologized and said it was a mistake and asked me to take the phone into the store . Well no one could be found but a manager name Joe I explained to him everything that was going on , he got on the phone with them confirm that it was my account and he gave me my item. The other two ladies needs to be fired and allowed to be in a position to call themselves a manger because 4 hours later I’m still upset because they was too lazy to take any steps to verify anything . I feel like they didn’t try to verify a name , email, phone number or account information because I was black and that I was doing fraud! Stop stereotyping people and do your freaking job and take the necessary steps before just telling someone they are not getting it! I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS STORE AND I WILL NEVER LET ANYONE IN MY FAMILY PURCHASES FROM THERE AGAIN UNTIL I GET A APOLOGY FROM THAT MANGER AND SOMETHING IS DONE ABOUT ALL MY WASTED TIME that they took from me , when it could have been a simple verification instead of assuming that a black person cant purchase a item like this and was...
Read moreUpdated review May 2025: While this whole mall is sparse and sadly on its way out, Neiman's is still all right for shopping. The selections are somewhat slim, but nicely curated. It is one of the few places a curvy person can find their size in the upscale brands. Sooo thankful for that! Love the clothing, wish they had more comfortable but beautiful shoes, and adore the perfume and makeup counters. As long as they're here, I will return whenever I can, if only to shop for gifts or the occasional silk blouse.
Old review: Mostly very happy with this location. They've got the latest and greatest designer goods in an easy to navigate arrangement that tempts you at every turn so that you can only leave the store with complete reluctance! This visit I bought a couple of items from the Dior counter. The sales associate, Ms. Lee, was splendid as she welcomed me and was able to help me find the one thing I came in for as well as something else I had no idea I needed but it turns out I do. Her willingness to explain products and suggest items was really delightful and not pushy at all. She was encouraging and kind as she demonstrated an eye cream and other products. I was very happy to work with her. Now for the not as happy stuff: When I walked in the store, plenty of listless, lifeless sales associates were around. Some slouched with their entire upper body heaved out over a counter in an exhausted and surrendered looking pose, chatting with one another, some just staring into space. There was only one person who said hello to me and asked if I needed help, and when I explained the purpose of my visit, she personally escorted me to where I wanted to go. I thought she was was marvelous, but sadly didn't get her name. The other crummy thing is in the parking area. There is little to no signage anywhere as to what door is Neiman's. They should not assume one would know that several entrances are for them. I would like signs on the columns of the parking area. Also, it just looks so grim compared to the rest of the freshened mall. Maybe in time they'll get around to better signage and slightly more consistently engaged associates. I still say 5 star, because Ms. Lee demonstrates the old NM spirit and did...
