WOW! Much impressed with the new Kroger Marketplace store which relocated this weekend across Coit Rd from old location. I was told years ago by the then store manager that Kroger would build a new store which just opened. It took many years and probably the increased competition from H-E-B which has opened and continues to open more stores in north TX especially Collin county. I post many new photos marked as 'opening weekend Jan 2025' to make a difference with old store photos. Quite the crowd opening weekend. With a larger store there can be more food items on display along with the specialty departments. And many visits to learn where everything is located. One test of new store will be how many registers open when one is shopping. Its one thing to have larger selection but if the checkout lanes take too long a bummer.

I've avoided Kroger over the years because of their run down stores and unfresh produce. I decided to give this brand new Kroger and chance and it was definitely a pleasant surprise. They have a huge produce section with a large variety of organic and regular produce. Everything seemed fresh but we'll have to see how we'll they maintain that. I was surprised that they had quite a few Asian food selections from dried goods to frozen food. They had brands like Bibigo, Mila, etc. The store honestly felt like a nicer HEB. There were lots of employees and seem like they were maintaining it better. However, the store is brand new with a lot of extra attention so have to see how they consistently maintain everything. But for now, it's a great shopping experience

I showed up here at 10:59pm because online says they close at 12am. I work late and can only grocery shop later so I was pretty annoyed when your employee standing by the gate snidely says “yOuVe GoT oNe MiNuTe” before I walk in and I tell him Google says 12 and he just says “oh well” great employee with an even better attitude.

So this kroger is beautiful have all you need. The reason for 3 stars is the unfriendly staff at register 8 today. I go in this store nearly everyday. I had an issue trying to purchase a gift card today and the lady was so mean to me. Looked at me and treated me as if I didnt have the money or was wasting her time. I treat everyone with respect and also I smile at everyone. She was rude to me but the next lady she was super smily and nice. So the 2nd time I came thru the line, I tried to make a joke and she rolled her eyes, didnt say a word. The gift card didnt work again, she said "it still didnt work" and throws her hands up. I said ok thanks just forget it. So I went to the self checkout and asked this other staff for help. She had me in and out with 5mins. I voiced to her im here nearly everyday and that lady was so rude to me. She apologized and I appreciate that but nobody that spends as much money as my family does at this location should have to go thru that.

Also, I want to put this out there I do not belive this was any race issue. Im Black and so was the lady at the register.

I will still go back but if shes at a register, I'll just wait at another line.

Other than that,...

I love the majority of the products, especially the produce. My issue is with this delivery only bs. Like, what???!!! I search what I’m specifically shopping for and half of it comes up as delivery only. Why?? I live almost an hour away but like stopping on my way home and grabbing my grocery pick up order from here. Why would ramen noodles be a delivery only item?? So silly. Just going to stick to Walmart and HEB going forward. Whoever decided some items should be obtained by delivery only needs to be fired. Ignorant idea.

Next, why is using fuel points so difficult? Why can’t I just pull up to the pump, enter my number or scan a QR code and get my 10 cents per gallon off? And why do your kiosk clerks sit around with ear buds in, not have a clue either how to redeem fuel points then give the customer attitude bc they had to stop their podcast or music to actually listen to and help answer a customers questions?? I’m just done with Kroger at this point. Deleting my account. Walmarts been 100% easier...

I just discovered an absolute hidden gem of a Kroger in Plano, and I’m genuinely excited to share it! Even though I live just a mile from the one on Dallas Parkway, this location is now my go-to, hands down. The staff here is incredible—everyone goes above and beyond to make sure your needs are met. I was on the hunt for CarbMaster milk (one of their most popular items), and Yazzie went out of his way dropped everything he was working on, just to ensure I got exactly what I wanted. You can really tell the managers are doing an outstanding job at this store!

The prices are fantastic across the board, and the store itself is immaculate—so clean, well-organized, and a joy to shop in. I was honestly impressed by how well-maintained everything is. If you’re looking for a top-notch shopping experience, trust me, this Kroger will...
