I will start off with this, I am giving grace with this review because everyone makes mistakes. I ordered shrimp fried rice, as you can see from the pictures I ordered online at 456pm for a 615pm pickup. 1 menu item and plenty of time to get it right. Here's what I got: chicken fried rice. PSA to all readers: please do your job right or go out of your way to make it right when you make a mistake- you never know what a person is going through and how your mistake will affect someone. Here's how this meal affected my evening: I order shrimp fried rice as my "happy place" meal. I only order it when I am extremely upset and need a bit of comfort food. I read the reviews, they were close, and I decided to go ahead and give them a try--they are not my normal place (Chong Quing and they have NEVER made a mistake in all my years going to them). I have a missing friend, I was just told one of my loved ones was just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, I have some medical stuff, and the night before I had just gotten some more difficult news. So the last thing I want to hear is my one thing that could cheer me up a little more was wrong. They sent me a text to say they messed up (now I took the order at 609pm I noticed because I was early) but the order was ready so I didn't think to check. The text came in at 615pm. I was already far enough away for it to be inconvenient for me to come back. This is DFW so you all know how it is. As you can see from the pictures I pre-tipped before even getting my order (no choice ordering online) so $1 comp to me isn't going to get me to come back to this establishment. The food was okay not like what I normally get at my other place more importantly but I wanted shrimp not chicken for dietary reasons. If I had had the energy and felt like driving back, I realize that I would have had what I wanted. I'm not making a stink but I would have taken care of a customer much differently. So had I had a better resolution I would have saved this review and given them another chance, and though they could not know all I am going through, they had well over an hour to get a one menu item order correct. Guess I am only worth a buck- better than...
Read moreI found this place on google after an exhausting day from working. I ordered a lot to sample because it had so many good reviews I said to myself it’s too good to be true. Let’s start off with the employees are incredibly sweet, especially at a time of 9pm. I’m not sure what the woman’s name was but her joyful personality and compliment really made my day and I tipped very well for that. When I tell you I got home and everything looked fantastic and delicious. I got the crab Rangoon, chicken dumpling, sesame chicken, hibachi chicken with fried rice, and the shrimp tempura roll. The hibachi chicken needs a bit more sauce in my opinion but the chicken is tender and yummy. The shrimp tempura roll tastes just like a 5 star sushi restaurant, absolutely fresh and flavorful which is rare. The sesame chicken was tender, had enough sauce and pairs well with steamed rice and the broccoli it had. The fried chicken dumpling 10/10 the sauce is AMAZING, I thought the dumpling alone was great the sauce takes it to another level. The Crab Rangoons were crispy, the cream cheese was still hot which was great. They give you a generous amount of sweet and sour sauce! This is something most places don’t do. The tangy-sweetness pairs fantastic with the crab rangoon. This place is incredible and will be my go-to from now on. I cannot wait to try...

I'm posting this because I think most people that order from Lucky House may be primarily delivery. I enjoy the food, but I think it's imperative that the ownership and management step up both sanitation and business practices. Check Lucky House's April 2024 Health Department score - the worst of any Plano restaurant Visit and observe the FILTHY DISGUSTING draperies separating the kitchen from the couner area - the ones that every employee touches as they traverse the area WITH YOUR FOOD - UNCOVERED. Lastly, having an 8 year old working my entire transaction was very troubling on the last visit. I do not want this restaurant to close. Action is needed to keep it open. I can't order there again until after a follow-up health department visit and the painfully obvious santitation issues are dealt with - and no more service from very young children. Again, I've eaten here many times and enjoy the food - but based on what I've seen and read - I just can't do it again without action...
