I will start off by saying I live out of town was in Plano so me and my children could spend the weekend with my husbans before school starts Monday. So my experience was half, good half bad. Me and my daughter went(her 1st time getting nails done) Ling done my daughters powder nails and she did amazing my daughter went in with a photo and when Ling realized she couldn't do it she started over and the finished result was very good. My daughter loves them(the black with sparkles is hers) Ling is amazing and takes pride in her work. She stated to us that if her customers are not happy with her work then she is not happy, she wants you to tell her if there is something wrong with her work so she can fix it where you will actually like it. Now to my experience the woman that did mine she was not nice. In my opinion she did a very poor quality job on my nails. At 1st I chose dark purple as my 1st color and then I chose a silver sparkle color to put on top of the purple. (I just chose to get acrylic nails with nail polish) At 1st they looked good when she 1st started then when the for the polish I felt the nails looked thick and I said so and was told that they look that way because of the glitter coat. So I waited and decided to say something to the owner. I asked him if he thought the nail job looks good. One of the others looked at them also. I told them I had, had my nails done many times in my 28yrs and they never looked like this. When the woman who did them went to fix them she told me then that I had no nail bed. Yes I bite my nails and have for most of my life and no one has ever had an issue doing my nails and them looking good. Usually I don't say anything when it comes to stuff like this. I don't like to upset people. But this time I chose to say something about it. The lady took the polish off and used the electric file tool to file them down some more. I told her i just wanted to purple and not the sparkle. So she repainted them and I am still not satisfied, I just didn't want to deal with the angry woman again in fear that they would cturn out looking worse than they already are. So I will be going to a nail salon in my home town of Canton shortly and getting them fixed. I went here because it was convenient. It was just 6 miles from my motel an was still taking people at 7:15pm. So now you can see why it was half...
Read moreOkay so I went here for the first time Today. I forget the technician names but I had an amazing man do my pedi, took the time to make sure he got all the callouses off my feet and took his time. Now I had an older lady do my mani and I told her not to file or clip my nails; the over filing they do in salons causes mine to break more and they didn't need it. She continued to try to shape my nail like you would with acrylics. She then files them so they are no longer straight, Took a full side of my middle finger nail off on my right hand. My nails grow weirdly and curve around the nail bed. So they are weirdly shaped and look off making my OCD act up but then once she starts polishing she is more worried about not getting polish on my skin than making sure my nail is covered correctly. She didn't fully coat the top coat so as my dark color continues to dry the top coats shrinking and there is now a thin section of my nails that aren't glossy and making me freak because it doesn't look okay but then it's also starting to peel off already and I literally finished getting my nails done at 6:45 pm. I went back and asked to talk to the owner round 7pm. I forget his name but he offered to fix the Polish. I hadn't even told him about the shaping and was getting very distressed and the idea of him fixing nails that weren't shaped correctly just made me more upset. I asked for a refund but he refused. He said we don't refund for services. I walked out. Its going to take me at least a month for my nails to start growing out enough for them to look normal again. And that's with my shaping once a week and keeping them short.. I'm extremely disappointed when I look over at my friends nails and hers look amazing. My recommendation go for the pedicures but don't get a regular manicure. Get tips or nexgen but don't get gel or polish because they apparently don't know how to work with natural length anymore. If I could get away with posting ZERO...
Read moreI took my 6 year old daughter as a special activity together. The prices were not advertised anywhere on the walls. This business assumed I would know that you pay more if you choose more colours. My 6 year old chose 5 colours to paint in her hands. Her tiny little fingers… They charged $25!! Nothing else was done. I was shocked and enquired about where the the price was written and the response was, ‘it’s not written anywhere, all of our customers just know our price if you choose 2 or more colours!!’ To which I replied, ‘I’ve never been here before how am I just going to know this?!’ I walked out very angry. When we got in the car my daughter then got upset because the nails had already peeled off! So I went back in and asked for a refund and he said, ‘I’ll give you a refund if I take it all off!’ And she agreed as she wanted it fixed. Where we come from, the business would try and resolve the issue. What a horrible person to treat new customers this way. The place was also EXTREMELY dirty. I had to dust off the pedicure chair before I sat down and the towel used were not clean. I was given a dirty pillow to place my hands on and the table when I had my manicure looked as though it hadn’t been wiped down in a month! I did not see any santitising of equipment. I’d be careful going here in case you pick up...
