We had a tasting with Urban Taste several months before our wedding and they accommodated our taste buds! I appreciate how Tiffany helped customize their menu for us, even with different kinds of cheese for the charcuterie board. Our guests were 80% Korean and they brought kimchi for the side that I didn’t even know about on our wedding day until our guests commented about it. It was so nice of them to think beyond their customers. We both are foodies and we wanted our guests to enjoy the food at our wedding. Catering was the most important vendor for our wedding. I heard only great things about food from our guests - how they loved the appetizer station, main dishes and sides. One thing I want to make a comment on is that email communication could improve. It was at times hard to get in touch through email so I had to make sure to send a follow up. Woke up this morning to a phone call from our wedding’s DJ stating this catering company sent a very unprofessional and sabotaging email about doing business with me and my family, 30 days before my wedding!

We decided after two tastings of different meals that their price was outside our budget and not worth it. After being late to the second tasting (still showed & communicated being late prior to appointment) I assume that’s when the company thought it would be okay to contact our other vendors to quit on us 30 days prior to my wedding this year. The integrity of this company is in question.

The DJ blocked them and was disgusted with the lack of professionalism from this Black own business. It’s sad. Their email was irrelevant to our music vendor and in poor taste!

This is NOT a set back (Amen) because evil never wins! However, I NEED this to be known! PLEASE BE AWARE!

Saundra with Urban Taste Catering made my event extra special and so much easier for me!! I can hardly wait for the next time I have an opportunity to use their service!! The food was delicious and Saundra did a beautiful job setting it up, keeping hot fresh food in the chafing dishes and she had it all cleaned up and moved out very quickly and efficiently. She was helpful throughout the course of my event even things that I would have not expected her to assist with. The guest thought that I knew her or worked with her before because of how well she worked with the flow of the event. In the past, I placed food orders and normally picked it up, set it up and cleaned it all up myself. Never again!!! When I did it myself it was so much work, before, during and after my event, that I didn’t get to enjoy my time with the guests’ and I could never maintain the presentation like she did.
