Cake Bites, LLC — Restaurant in Plano

First, I want to say the cake balls were good, my rating is based off the lack of customer service. I sent in a picture of what I was wanting for a quote, and was given a quote. The design had cake balls on both ends, and was under the impression that the two cake balls would just be one split in half between the two sides. I followed up about a week before making sure we were all set. Then I call the day before, as I got an email saying my order was ready, and that’s when they told me my order was going to be cut in half. So 36 cake cops went down to 18. They had multiple opportunities to tell me that before THE DAY BEFORE MY SONS PARTY. She did say she could possibly make more the day of, but she also said “did you think you were going to get some for free”. Had the communication been better, I’d probably give a higher rating, however, insinuating that I wanted something for free is absurd when my order drastically changed less than 24 hours...

If I could give 10 stars to Cake Bites I would! Although I wasn't able to go with Cake Bites due to my budget, that doesn't mean someone else can't. Both Eric and his mom were very friendly, professional, and made our cake testing personal. It wasn't just a business meeting, they truly went over everything and made my husband and I feel more than customers. Although we weren't able to commit for a wedding cake, I will definitely be back for their cake bites for smaller occasions. My favorite flavors are German Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Red Velvet,...

Ordered the gluten free chocolate and vanilla through GrubHub on a whim and they were DELICIOUS! I had zero reaction (and I have celiac and wheat allergies) so I will be back ASAP try the other GF flavors they offer. So amazing tasting, so many flavors, and so many custom decorating options. Thank you for providing safe food options! Can’t wait to return. Yum!

Update: one again they have outdone themselves! They are super friendly when it comes to allergies but the real winner is they make adorable cake balls!...
