A true haven nestled into downtown. We walked past on Last Friday, meandered in for the art, and stayed for the atmosphere. The artwork is phenomenal- there’s truly something for everyone. One of our friends had his young daughter with him, and we were initially hesitant to bring her in because the spaced looked so refined. But the owner, Mark, greeted her with such kindness and invited her to explore with her eyes, not her hands. My friend and I ended up getting some delicious drinks and sat at the bar, where Rachel, Mark’s wife, gave our little friend something to draw on. I found that to be so thoughtful. This place is a gem nestled in the quaint shops of the Historic Downtown district. Local artists are celebrated and highlighted in such a tasteful way. Classes are offered to appeal to a variety of people. There is always an event going on here. Always wonderful music, often live local musicians. Great place for taking a date or group of friends! Lots of varied artists displayed in a quaint and well decorated art gallery. The back end of the gallery is a champagne bar called Rouge that has wine, beer, and champagne!
