Roots Tap Room & Wine Bar — Restaurant in Plant City

I love this place so much but today not so much. I got the worst service ever. This was my 2nd time going there. When I first got there I was waiting at the bar there was one person ahead of me I was second in line, when it was my turn to order the bartender said hold on walked across the street was gone for about 5 minutes came back and then took my order....okeee. I sat down, drank my beer and then waited about 15 min. .. no one came to take my order. I flagged down the other bartender/waitress and she took my order. It was busy so I understood. Then it wasn't busy and I still received the same service. I received my food, I ordered the grilled cheese. It was very bland and I would not recommend it. I ate 1/2 of it and then waited and waited and waited for my waitress to bring me the check. I flagged her down after she sat down and started talking to some friends and she finally came and brought me the check. I felt so ignored and like I didn't matter. I have ranted and raved about this place and was even going to bring my friend tomorrow to check this place out. Not now., it was really an awful experience. No customer service whatsoever!! I am a great tipper as I have been a waitress myself in the past. I gave a 10% tip and didn't really want to give that much. It was such a huge...

I was there, twice, two times, both of the times I visited Florida’s West Coast. (I think I was there the week they opened, actually). Absolutely Unmatched hospitality and service both times from who I can only assume is the owner. Wine selection is perfect for this area. Did not realize it was craft beer and wine only when I ordered a Johnny Walker Black and Coca-Cola. (I’m so embarrassed) I would give an extra star for them if I could. What a cute and cozy place! I took my son out for a date nite and we had a lot of fun! The grilled cheese sandwiches were the best we have ever had! I told my son, "These are better than mine" and he said, "Yep!" Mom - Roasted! 🤣 I enjoyed my Moscato! My son is a Math guy and he had fun calculating the % of the alcohol.
