I love my Brother PR 650 that I purchased from Inspire about 3 years ago. I had some experience with a single head machine however, I wanted to learn some more specific techniques regarding the software for digitizing and/or splitting monograms. I met with someone at the shop and they did not know how to do it. I found someone on the internet who walked me through it. I also have to say, that I never received 1 follow up call from this store after my $10,000 purchase. I have been a business owner and I was very disappointed that they did not follow up to see if I needed any assistance, ask if I had any questions or information on the machine or its use. They are very helpful at the store. I go there to get supplies but I feel that they are lacking in following up with the customer to help them in advanced techniques not just beginning embroidery especially when spending this much money on a machine that has its problems some times.. I did find this in other quilting shops locally and in other towns/states where they sell the Brother Embroidery machines also. I try to stop at them if we are out of town but find them to be more focused on quilting designs. I also found that many did not know how to use the software to its fullest, such as instructing how to digitize designs or doing more than the basic. You will have to search on You Tube and Facebook pages to obtain deeper instructions other...
Read moreI almost didn't stop in as a couple of fellow quilters mentioned the staff was not overly friendly, but I was in the neighborhood for lunch and stopped by on a Saturday. I have to say the friends were right. They have some beautiful selections and wonderful samples but they were probably the least friendly quilt shop I've ever gone to. No one greets you as you come in or even walk by employees. I had to ask a question and it was obvious it bothered the young lady to stop folding fabric to respond. I also wanted to buy a kit while there and when I asked about it one lady seemed a bit put out she had to show me where it was located. When I explained I had already looked she took me over anyway, asked another employee who said it was in the same place and the response I got was "oh well, guess we're out, do you wanna leave your name". I left my name and asked if they could call me with even the pattern name if they didn't have anymore. Needless to say that was 3 weeks ago and no one bothered to return my call. If they don't have any interest in selling a $400+ quilt kit then they are way too busy for my business. All of this might have made sense except my friend and I were the only customers in the shop except a couple in the...
Read moreLoved the amount of fabric variety. They are a Brothers licensed dealer, so great to have your machines serviced here down fall because they are brother brand only. On the few reviews of the staff, I sadly would have to agree. I waited 12 mins to have someone cut my fabric, and the staff ignored that I was even in their presence half the time, and it took an extremely long time to be checked out. I almost walked out of the store. I think the staff wasn't intentionally trying to be rude but I do think they haven't learned from reviews to just acknowledge someone even if you're short staffed to just apologize and show that you appreciate the wait...
