I live locally and anytime I have family in town, I like them to see and explore Plant City. There’s not a lot here but I enjoy supporting the community and small business. Yesterday my nieces and I had a girls day and went to down town to explore and see what’s new. Of course I remember the Kandy shop and go in. The person in the store that day just said hello and kept to herself in the back. Didn’t interact with us at all, I had questions about things and I looked up and she was still in the back on the phone (not talking to anyone) just on the phone and with papers. Mind you I’m looking and looking at her and she doesn’t even check on us to see if we had any questions or if we were interested in something specific. At this point I just want to leave but my niece found something... so I have to actually say “excuse me” then she finally gets up from the back and checks us out. NOT the best experience. I definitely wouldn’t go back and won’t be in Inviting my family and friends to go there. She’s not very welcoming and just ignored us. So poor customer service. Doesn’t matter what kind of day you have always...
Read moreWent on the Friday before mother's Day to get my mom chocolate for mother's Day. It was my first time purchasing. I asked questions such as shelf life and how I should store them. She seemed annoyed and impatient the whole time. I asked what percentage the dark chocolate asks and she says " is your mom a health person?" I respond with no. She then does a sarcastic laugh and says "why we asking then". I just didn't want the chocolate to be bitter. I was the only customer in the store when selecting chocolate during this whole interaction. I also stated clearly that I wanted to spend a set amount but when we went to check out it was almost double the price I asked I wanted to spend. If you want an attitude and poor customer service this is the place for you. I will be driving out of my way to go to other chocolate shops...

We were looking to see what kind of candy we wanted when another customer came in and knew exactly what he wanted and so lady behind counter helped him. Once she was done with him she looked at us and said "were you going to get anything because I am not sure where the water is coming from." I pointed to my son and said "sorry they had a water slide at the event." Her reply was "well it's just that these are hardwood floors." I apologized even though I shouldn't of had to. I only purchased the candy my son wanted. I...
