Mr. Sebas — Restaurant in Plant City

Thought this would be a good place for a Sunday afternoon snack. Unfortunately, from the moment we walked in, the girls behind the counter were acting annoyed that we came in, which was strange because we were the only people in there. When we tried to talk to them, they wouldn’t answer us unless we asked about something specific, and that was met with a sigh before answering us. We ordered 3 Cubans and were planning on getting dessert after, but when we ordered they sighed in disappointment and said it would be 30 minutes… for 3 Cuban sandwiches. It was obvious we disturbed their day of not serving customers since it was empty, so we cancelled our order and apologized for bothering them. I felt the need to leave this review in case the owner would like to be aware that the Sunday staff from 6/30 would prefer to drive away customers than do what they are...

First visit to Mr Sebas. It's a huge space with not a lot going on. It seemed hollow when I walked in. I think it could use a little music to liven it up a bit.

I was greeted by the only person working. She really didn't seem thrilled about anything.

I ordered a butter pecan in a cup. Two nice sized scoops for a bit over $4.00.

It tasted fine. I'm sorry I don't know where they get there ice cream. They had about 20 or so different flavors.

There were some baked goods also. Again nothing spectacular. I guess I'm rating it low because of the atmosphere. There was virtually none.

I did sit there a bit to people watch. A couple came in and promptly left. So I was by myself for most of the time I was there.

Maybe I'll try it another time. Maybe...

I discovered this place through Google search. It's a cute and homey atmosphere. Ice cream was my purpose of going here. I got greeted nicely. I ordered 2 large chocolate shakes. I was told they offer only one size I said that's fine 2 please. I paid my $10 plus a $2 tip, which is reasonable when it's a we'll built shake. We ended up getting 2 very cold cups of milk. Vanilla ice cream was apparently used, which I find insulting. There was chocolate ice cream available. And very little chocolate flavoring was used. No thickness to the shake. The little area designated for ladies clothing and jewelery was cute. They sell a variety of flavored drinks. The sign says ice cream and more...it should be more and...
