This is my favorite salon in the entire Bay Area to get facials and nails. Paint Nail is a franchise that has been expanding rapidly and this Pleasanton location is their newest addition.

I specifically love this location because the aesthetics are chefs kiss and I always feel like I'm treated so well here. All the technicians and the front desk are so nice and welcoming!

THE NAILS The nail designs here are so cute. The nail techs really care about giving you a beautiful set of nails, even if it means a three hour session to get the most intricate designs. All the nail techs really have an eye for what is popular in Asia. For instance, cat eye gel nails are really in style and they have soooo many cat eye colors. They also offer a special Gel X technique that keeps the nail on a lot longer than other nail salons.

THE FACIALS It is winter season and, as a dry skin girlie, my skin needs HELP. In this store they have a special skincare machine where they analyze your face and tell you exactly what is "wrong". I already knew going in that i had dry skin but I was sooo shocked when I found out my moisture levels were 28% (really bad). The machine also estimates your "skincare age" and I got 4 years younger than my actual age (which made me feel a bit better haha) Because of my dry skin, I was recommended to get the salmon egg facial with microneedling. The facial lasted about 90min and included face cleaning, massage, steam, extractions, UV light, and the salmon egg with needling. My skin immediately looked so hydrated and amazing. I was FaceTiming my sister the next day and she randomly commented that my face looked so smooth and good. She didn't even know I had a facial. The RESULTS speak for themselves!

ADDITIONAL DETAILS Many of their clients are Chinese so a lot of the menus have Chinese characters on them, but there always English translations as well. I cannot read Chinese at all and I've never had any communication issues. Parking is never an issue, because Paint Nail Pleasanton is located in a plaza, sharing a huge parking lot with many restaurants and stores.

I'm literally here at least once a month. Getting a facial or my nails done is such a relaxing break from the stressfulness of every day life. My favorite place for self care is Paint Nail. I cannot wait to try their eyelash...

I absolutely love this salon—it’s so worth the hour-long commute for me! I come here for both nails and facials, and they never disappoint. They always have amazing package deals and membership discounts, which make it even better. What sets this location apart, though, is how detailed and technical they get when discussing your treatments. It’s clear they really know their stuff and care about what works best for you.

For facials, they used their skin analysis machine to assess my skin, and together we decided on a DPL and hydration treatment package. I’m on my third session now, and the improvement in my skin texture is incredible—seriously noticeable! The hydration treatment includes that trendy Korean salmon ingredient (you know the one!), and my skin feels unbelievably soft after every session. I’m hooked!

Their nail game is just as strong—I’ve been obsessed with their Kateye manicures. The color options are so cute and stylish, it’s hard to pick just one. If you’re looking for a spot that’s worth the trip, this is it....
