I was thrilled to discover that T% had opened up closer to the south bay in Pleasanton, making it easier for me to enjoy their drinks without traveling all the way to Sacramento or Elk Grove.
Hey Sesame -My excitement quickly dissipated when I ordered the Hey Sesame and found that the ice was chunky, the sesame flavor was weak and diluted, and it lacked the creamy texture I was used to from the Sacramento location. I brought this up with the manager to see if they could swap the Hey Sesame with a different drink because the texture and flavor was completely different. They responded by saying "We make it different (than the Sacramento location) and also said "Sacremento uses a different recipe". I brought up that this literally says T %, how can the recipe be different if you're using the same name. I think the manager was thinking that I was asking for a refund when really, I just wanted a different drink. This interaction was different than the Sacremento location because I had a drink that I really dislike and it was a seamless interaction.
Feelin Peachie - I also recommend my friends to get this drink and they also said it felt watered down. This is completely different than the Sacramento location.
Mango Tango - This was my replacement drink after my interaction. This also tasted very different than the Sacramento location.
Overall, I would not recommend visiting this T% location if you are expecting the same quality and taste as the Sacramento location. Perhaps there were new boba baristas working on the day I visited, but regardless, my experience left me feeling...

Huge difference from what you used to receive vs now. The cup sizes, and they only offer one size, are extremely small. Smaller than my hand?!? The mango mochi with zero sugar is still y favorite. Same great flavor but I finish it in less than half of the time. $10 for this? I'm on the hunt for a new place. —————-
Yogost is a 30 minute drive for me. But since stopping here the first time, I've now made the drive 3 times. The cravings are real and I don't feel guilty about it! Maybe I should ask about a rewards program?!
Rice mochi? No sugar option? Housemade fruit compote? Yogurt based drinks which are gut healthy and delicious?
Yogost - where have you been all my life?!?
I've been trying to cut sugar for a few weeks now, which is difficult, but Yogost offered some options that were on my plan and tasty! This may be the perfect alternative to my mild boba addiction. They have a rice mochi, made without sweetener, which has a thick and gummy texture. With the no sugar option, I was warned that the drinks may have a tart flavor, but this didn't bother me. In fact, I think I liked it better this way. The fruit compote on the bottom offered just enough sweetness without the guilt.
The Mango Coconut Mochi is my favorite. I've also tried the Strawberry Yogurt and have asked to add the rice mochi to different flavors, which is doable with any drink. All have been 5/5 stars! This is the first location in California and I'm so glad they're in The Bay! Looking forward to...
