We first found Mayflower Service when the tow-truck driver brought our car with a broken timing belt here for repair. We really didn't know where to go, but we knew the driver because he works where we get our safety inspections.
We did not expect much. We just hoped not to get taken advantage of too bad. Surprisingly, right from the beginning Dennis treated us as though we were regular customers. He quoted us a price range, which was in the ball park of some other telephone quotes. The final price for the timing belt was a little below the low range of his quote. The car broke on Sunday, we talked Monday morning, and we picked it up on Tuesday, all fixed and washed inside and out.
I used to change my own oil, but since the no problem timing belt repair, we decided to let Dennis do all our maintenance, and we feel better having our car always looked at carefully when serviced. What I used to save changing my own oil is negligible compared to the peace of mind we now enjoy from knowing that our car is the caring hands of someone we trust.
