We went in on a Saturday, being the second people at the gun counter when we got there we thought we'd be all but in and out. Somehow we still had to wait over 2 hours because they continued to help other people telling us it would just be 1 more minute, help was on the way. Two of the people they were just going to "check" out decided to also purchase guns. They started the paperwork with them.Not once acknowledging that we had been there for a significant amount of time. After just over two hours, I finally said you know, we've been waiting here 42 hours.It would be really great if we could get some help since we've spent the rest of our evening here. They finally went and grabbed somebody else to come help us only for them to tell us that they couldn't accept my currently valid concealed weapons license with my regular I.D because I had since been married and my last name didn't match. Even though this hadn't been a problem previously at the same store, Cabella's or guns and gear it somehow was a problem this one evening.It's a shame too. After doing our research, we had finally decided we wanted to buy a shotgun and two pistols but after being ignored for two hours, which would have saved us time finding out that they weren't going to accept my concealed weapons license. We could have saved the rest of our day salvaged some of our evening and probably still been would have gone back but after how they talked to us when we asked why this hadn't been a previous problem or a problem at any other store being ignored and wasting our entire evening. We'll find somewhere else to buy...

After 15 business days i called the store, the manager looked at my order and told me he will give me a call back cause it looks like it has not been shipped. After a day he did not return my call so i gave him a call back. He then told me its still in transit and they have not received it. After two days i called the customer service,1-800 number, the agent i talk to me told me the gun was at the store already its been there for a week. I proceed to tell him that i was told by the store manager that its not in the store and still in transit. He told me he will call the store manager at that store and will give me a call back. I am worried sick cause i just purchase a 1500 dollars gun and sportsman's doesn’t have a clue where is the gun and took my money. After all the chaos i finally cancel my order and have waisted almost 3 weeks to deal with sportman’s and the store managers smh. Do not buy anything with them because they don’t know anything and will give you all the false...
Read moreAfter nearly 6 weeks I'm still waiting for Sportsman's Warehouse to install after-market front and rear sights on a Desert Eagle 50 AE that I purchased along with a 3-year service plan. Because the Pocatello store wasn't able to change the sights, Eric asked my permission to send the gun to another gunsmith, stating it should take only a few days. I said of course. A week later I called Eric for an update and he said, "Let me make a phone call and I'll let you know what I find out." He never called back. A week after that I called Eric and he said the same thing, but again never called back. Two weekly visits to the store after that I was told each time, "Your gun's not here, we'll let you know when it comes in." My last visit was on 7/10...it's now 7/15 and still nothing but crickets. Seriously, does it really take more than 5 weeks to swap out gun sights? Why won't anybody from the Pocatello store call and give me a courtesy update? I don't know when I'll get my gun back, but one thing is for sure...If I ever shop at Sportsman's Warehouse again it will be at the store in...
