I have always shopped at the Crossings and have had pleasant experiences. However the other day walking into this store changed my opinion. It started as I walked around the store I had picked up a couple things to try on as I was greeted by a blond woman with glasses. When I told her I was fine holding the items (I was trying to match colors couldn’t do it if she took away my items to a fitting room) I have worked in retail I know this is a big thing pushed to encourage people to buy more… fine. She approached me 4 more times In the fifteen minutes I walked around and she kept joking that I had to hurry the store would close by the time I’m done (2hrs till close). I just decided to ignore her and go to the fitting room she would probably leave me alone…WRONG. I tried on a pair of pants that I absolutely loved on they fit like tailored for me. I walked to look in big mirror and again lady comes up to me she offers me a different style and different color because they don’t suit me right. Right then and there I felt terrible because I loved these pants on me. I decided to not try anything else on I was just not in the mood i put everything on the rack she then come over and says “you couldn’t hang those the right way” I didn’t even take the clothes I brought in off the hanger. I went home decided to come back the next day. Then I was greeted by Kathy and boy was she worse she followed me around and made me feel like I was being suspected of something bad. I grabbed the few items I didn’t try the other night again to look in the big mirror I stepped out and was just feeling like being mocked on how the clothes fit me. “Oh that looks good but you need a different size” the dress I had on was a little big in my shoulders but snug in my hips I knew I couldn’t do any smaller I tried to explain that “nonsense” she said. I was so upset with the way I’ve been treated I got dressed and asked to speak to the manager and was told Kathy was the manager I walked out. Maybe it’s been a bad week and stressful almost everytime I’ve ever been in the store previously I have worked with Karen or Tita and they are the definition of sweethearts always helping see my outfit ideas through and will just listen if I have a complaint about the fit not pointing...
Read moreThe Ann Taylor store at the Pocono Premium Outlets is a hidden gem if you’re looking for polished well made clothes at a great price. The store is super clean and organized which makes it easy to walk through and find what you need without feeling overwhelmed. Everything was neatly folded or hung up and sizes were easy to find.
They had a really nice mix of casual and professional pieces. I found a few great blouses and a blazer that fit perfectly and were marked down a lot more than I expected. The quality is exactly what you’d want from Ann Taylor and the outlet prices make it even better.
The staff was friendly and professional. I asked a few questions about fit and sales and they were helpful without hovering. It felt like they were there if you needed them but also gave you space to shop comfortably.
The fitting rooms were clean and quiet which made it easy to try on a few different outfits without feeling rushed. Checkout was fast and smooth and the cashier even helped me apply a promotion I didn’t know about which saved me a few extra bucks.
Overall this is a great spot for anyone looking to upgrade their wardrobe without breaking the bank. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m at...
