Superior Grocers — Local services in Pomona

I'V been a customer there for over 7 years, purchasing all my vegetables, cacke , meat and other stuff . I know most of the worker there and they know me as repeat customer. Last time I went to buy some baked sweet. I asked for an empty box , and there was 2 workers standing next to the registre, they were not supposed to work in that section, because another lady works there , she has been working there for a while in the cacke department , the guy showed me an attitude that the box it's not free and it costs 2 dollars, he asked how many pcs do you want , I told him over 20 pcs . his answer you can use bags , everything has a price . the way that he was talking as this store is the only and the last one in the world , I used to get an empty box from the lady that she used to work there . Next time they will put your caske in a bag or they have to charge you $2 for a box with attitude. I was in rush ,so no time to go somewhere else . I purchased the small empty box for $2 . I got the sweets and left all the other bags that I was going to buy . I will never come back again . Other places are better with...

My daughter loves it! I will never go back. She recommended the fresh made tamales so I went to Hot Foods area. There were 3, maybe 4 workers behind counter and one woman being served . The counter was split so I went to other side because I was standing a long time and needed support. The woman was having trouble with her order and it took forever. In the meantime I was standing there patiently awaiting my turn. I had one question- Where are tamales located? A couple came into woman’s side with a cake. Now woman finally gets her problem solved, the worker tells me that the couple is next! She tells me to move behind them! And not nicely either! Split counter with cash register in middle! I asked her where tamales are and she looks at me and says “there,?there!” I turn around and in middle is aisle are tamales! I walked out. So rude, unfriendly, and mean spirited! I will not return to (Superior?) and Corporate needs to evaluate the way their employees are trained to deal...

ONLY shop here for very few things because it's convenient, first thing is first, almost everytime I stop there on my way back from work at night, there is only 1 register open, which is already kind of a red flag. Second thing, prices are abnormally high for a grocery store in this particular area. Third, I am putting a 3 star because I usually always have better experiences with the friendly employees who are also not to slow/don't take their sweet time when I am at the registers. But only twice ,and ONLY this one employee with whom ever seems to have this problem, keeps UNNECESSARILY/pointlessly asking me face to face if I wanted cash back, when I can easily get cash back when the screen asks me to. No other employee there, out of the entire time I have been shopping here, has asked me that except for her.
