My wife and I visited the South Chino Home Depot to purshase some vertical blinds. We intially encountered a woman speaking with three male employees in the Home Decor section. We waited patiently as they concluded their conversation. We politely asked the woman if she could assist us. We quickly learned she knew nothing about the window coverings in the department she worked as she continually repeated our questions who another woman who was seated at a desk. We noticed she was shopping for woman's clothing on-line. None of the employees we encounted seemed to have the knowledge or inclination to assist so we left. I then did some research of my own on-line and discovered the Home Depot-Pomona store had the verticals we needed in the size and color for two different sized sliding doors. We met with Francis in Home Decor and she immediately stopped what she was doing and promptly explained where the blinds were AND escorted us over to the section to explain the different variations of color and texture they carried as well as those we could special order. Francis was pleasant, conversational, and VERY HELPFUL! She is the type of employee we all hope we would encounter whether we visit a business or call our cable company. Francis is a breath of fresh air in a seemingly increasing culture of poor service. Home Depot should be proud to have an employee of Francis' calibre!

This is still the worst of all the Home Depots that I go to. Sometimes it'll take several minutes just to find the right cart that I need. Most of the time when I look for an item it will either be out of stock or like a lot of the lumber, there are no prices. Yesterday stood and wandered for 10 minutes in the electrical and never saw an associate. I've been going to Home Depot since they started, I work for a large general contractor that did a lot of their door and window installations also. I know when a Home Depot is run well and when it's not. This one is not. They still have all the large bags of sand and gravel Grand Prime Pro contractor parking spots. The spots are even marked for the trucks with trailers.

Honestly can’t believe how I was profile in the self check out because I was buying Milwaukee a little pricey work tools. Manager Cristiane Ferreira store manager called over other co-worker to verify that everything was been paid for, she thought I didn’t see her do it, then she leaves to paint department like nothing happened. After everything was verified and paid for and spent over 500 dollars I approach her and let her know that what she did was not correct profiling a person like that. I will be sending a email to management to see if they do something about. I will follow up to see if management cares about their customers.

First off, I would give this review 0 stars if possible. On Tuesday 6/2/20 at approx. 5:30pm I went to the Pomona Home Depot. They were busy, but nothing out of the ordinary. When I went to check out & pay Oscar was standing near the self checkout lines directing customers as to which self check out lane was currently open. At this time the line of customers was all the way down the aisle. I noticed plenty of other check out stations but no employees there to expedite the line, and assist. When I kindly asked Oscar if they could open any further check out lanes, he casually shrugged me off, and told me to go to the pro-desk.

When I arrived at the pro-desk to check out the line was equally long with only one employee working while two others were chatting amongst themselves. I waited quietly, checked out, and went back to Oscar to let him know of the situation.

I then returned to let Oscar know of the situation at the pro-desk. However when I got back to Oscar, I noticed that two additional checkout lines had been opened. I started by thanking Oscar for opening the additional lanes, but then proceeded to let him know that there are employees over at the pro-desk just casually chatting while there was a line of customers waiting to check out, backing up into yet another aisle. At this time Oscar began yelling at me, asking me "if I was serious"? I stated that I was, and then asked if I could speak to a manager since, I as a regular paying customer feel that when there are approx. 20-30 customers waiting to check out, there probably shouldn't be employees standing around ignoring them. At this time Oscar continued screaming at me that he was going to call the cops on me. I asked him why and he stated that I was "harassing him". I calmly told Oscar I was not harassing him and that I only wanted to speak with a manager now because of his wildly inappropriate response. At this time Oscar walked to a phone and dialed 911. Funny enough, while Oscar was dialing 911, another customer approached me and stated that he too had asked Oscar for assistance, but had been ignored, and rudely told to leave. At this time Oscar came back to me and attempted to physically intimidate me by a getting very close to my face and yelling about calling the police and how they will come and kick me out since Home Depot is private property. At this point I left, and for good.

This type of customer service is 100% unacceptable. There is no reason that any calm & reasonable customer should ever be spoken to like this. Oscar's behaviors and actions are shameful, and without a doubt lead customers to spend their hard earned money elsewhere. Home Depot needs to and can do better than this.

Sincerely,

Your...

Went to this Pomona HD for a 5-gallon DryLok concrete waterproof because this product is tintable. But the guy and a young girl had no clue, they told me it is not tintable, then I showed them the label on the product clearly says tintable, they called a girl named Jennifer, Jennifer probably more senior but she gave out all kind of wrong advices, first she also said the product was not tintable, after we told her the product is labeled as tintable, then she gave some suggestions which not working, then she told them to ask me to go google DryLok and come back with color code, the young girl Google it instead, but came up empty, then Jennifer told me to call DryLok to ask for color code. What?? Anyway, the older guy and the younger girl at the counter were really trying to help, but Jennifer just BS me. There was also another thing happen prior to this, there was also a skinnier and slightly taller counter at the counter before this, I asked her where the waterproof product was, she was walking to the counter with a gallon of paint in her hand, she simply say "uhmm.. " and walk to the counter without answer my question, not bother to point out where is the product, I found the product myself, I came back and asked where can I find a flatbed cart, she said "I don't know" and walked away. I wasted 30 minutes there (was waiting for awhile because they were having problem with another customer with previous purchase and wanted to match the same color, the older was new, didn't know how until the young girl came and figured out). I simply think the management at this Pomona location are not doing a good job. Next day, I went to HD in Ontario (2980 S. Euclid St.), the guy at the paint counter pulled out his HD device, showed my about 10 available color to let me pick, I was handed the tinted paint in less...

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!

Forget the fact that you can never find anyone here ever! forget the fact that items are always in the wrong locations so even when you can't find someone and you look it up on the internet, it won't be in that location. Forget that when you finally do find someone (help with appliances in fasteners, closest person that didn't ignore me was 10 isles away), when they ask if you are finding everything... don't tell them about how your experiance is, because the employee that almost just knocked you over while running down the isle will argue with you as to why he was right! (Yes, this actually happened)

After 1 hour to get a new hood for my stove, I can't use my wifes store credit because "that's the policy". The last names are the same. Why don't you tell people that when you give it to them? Better yet, why is this a policy? Assign a programmable pin to the card, by the customer, problem solved. ITS 2018 PEOPLE!

I will never come back to this store. This is the 3rd problem I have had. Last time, they wouldnt let me return a 45 dollar item that was missing parts....... THATS WHY I WAS TRYING TO EXCHANGE IT, THE PARTS WERE MISSING WHEN I BOUGHT IT!.

I guess customer service is dead. Good luck home depot, I foresee your fate to soon be the same as toysRus. I will go to Lowes from now on... I'd rather pay 5% more when I takes me hours less, and they actually let me use my money.

$80 store credit card wasted because I will never go back to any home depot store of any...
