After my Thanksgiving morning activities with the XtraKredit Feed The IE project, I needed to get a gift for my mom, and I know one of her favorite cafes is this spot, 85C Bakery Cafe that is near her work at the Kaiser Lab. I was surprised to find that they were not that busy and I was able to walk into the bakery cafe that had no crowd. I managed to get a snack for myself and purchased 2 $20 gift cards that I would give to my mom, as her birthday gift, and I kept the 2 limited-edition mugs. The way I write reviews is that I evaluate businesses based on “the experience,” “the safety,” and “the people.” The experience was awesome in that the set up of the cafe is pretty open and there is a clear direction of where things are and a clear presentation of the products in front of me. The safety measures were in place due to the Covid-19 pandemic since there was an “in” door and an “out” door to prevent cross-traffic, as well as readily available hand sanitizer. The people, especially the Supervisor-on-Duty Ryan, promoted a positive energy in which they handled guests with a consistent “vibe” is what I say. Before taking any of the photos I posted, I asked permission from Ryan the Supervisor, and he was all for it. Thank you to the 85C Bakery Cafe team for allowing me not only to purchase a gift for my mom but also to take photos that are really worth a 1000 words and I just want to write a few 100 of them. - R•O•N

It was great about 6 years ago but when economy gone up. Now prices are same as other Korean bakery franchise. And quality has gone down to. I would say some dough is cheaper than Korean franchise. But most are same price. Did you notice on bad reviews are mostly none Taiwanese. And huge amounts of 5 star are Taiwanese or Chinese. I wonder why?🤔🤔🤔 Please support the mom and poppa local bakery asian stores. They are same or needs improvement but people are very nice and very friendly and prices wow average are $1 cheaper and size are way bigger than these franchise bakery stores. Your money spent are sent back to these companies of original foreign countries. Help your neighborhood bakery. Update 2025 April This dry taste fake Hawaiian style bread is a joke. And it costed $3. One piece of pineapple. 1 1/2 piece of beacon Cheap tomato sauce and cheese. Feels more like 2~3 day old bread. R U serious 85?

Most amazing fresh delicious delightful appetizing tastebud-crushing baked treats you'll ever find!! Milk toast! Omg and the garlic bread !! Crazy flavor. Also got a iced milk tea it was just as great! Location is really nice. It is inside of a huge shopping center and is not too crowded but I'm sure they can get a little pack because it's such a popular bakery! This has to be the most organized and clean looking business of any sort I've ever been inside of. I enjoy the whole experience from the front door to the register and appreciate the effort put into these fine baked goods! I will definitely be back every chance I get believe me my kids love these snacks.

August 2025. This review is for mobile order drinks. I have no issues regarding breads/cakes/seasonal items. My main issue regarding mobile order drinks is the system and apparently having to check into the front before they start making drinks. In my experience with mobile orders and payment in any other establishments… once you order and pay via app/telephone… the order will be printed out to the pos system to be made. The only reason why businesses would only make patrons to check into the front before making orders is due to patrons not paying before hand. For example, checking into the front for mobile orders because the patron wanted to pay with cash vs credit card. However, I did pay via credit card ahead of time so there should’ve been no need to check into the front and therefore bypass that step. I waited a total of 25 mins during this whole ordeal (ordered via app at 11:42a said drinks will be ready before noon, bought bread in the front at 11:48a). After mobile order I waited at the drink station because I saw the girl barista make two drinks that I believed were mine… however when she finished she walked the drinks to the back kitchen. i really wished she had some sense of awareness why someone would wait for so long and other drinks were flying by but my order wasn’t ready???? I spoke up and asked about my mobile order status around 11:58a. All she said was “you need to go to the front because the system needs to process it”. LIKE WHAT DO YOU MEAN?! (After, I think she meant… in better wording… you need to check in the front cash register for mobile order drinks. After checking in, a sticker will be printed for the drink bar to make your drink). WHY CANNOT SHE JUST SAY THAT. I swear… these employees need to be trained better and speak/choose correct wording to not confuse customers. Unfortunately, this is chino hills local talent working here. The statement “the system needs to process” my mobile order and no explanation what that means when asked again for clarification when it’s not crowded was absolutely rude and disrespectful. Please train employees to speak better and be clear. Have proper signage that mobile orders pls check in here before waiting at drink bar. WOULD BE EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND NOT TIME CONSUMING. Received my drink by 12:07p for two medium iced sea...

[disappointed]I always love the cake, however, when I was picking up a birthday cake today, I didn’t have a very good experience. I was treated very differently than other customer. The service guy gave me the cake saying “here you go” without asking if I want any writing or anything, so that asked “could I have wiring on it?” He said yes and let people put writing on the cake. In the mean time when I was waiting for my birthday cake writing to be prepare, he delivered another two birthday cakes for another customer, however, he also give them candles and plates, but he didn’t do it for my cake and even never asked me that. And I asked “could I also have candles and plates?” He just grabbed some candle put into the bag and leaving me put all my other cakes together, while he was doing that, he didn’t smile at all as he did to the other customer. While I was smiling to him when he was smelling to the other customer. Besides, I paid the whole price for the cake. I don’t know if this is because of race since I’m Asian and the other customer is Hispanic same as the service guy. I hope not. And I’m not saying that, it’s just one of my guess and it could be wrong. Overall, it’s bad to be treated...
