Snappers Fish & Chicken — Restaurant in Pompano Beach

I used to love this place years ago, but now, it has gone completely down hill, i ordered a 6pc wing dinner and Hush puppies... i should've checked before driving away from that damn window esp after waiting for almost 20 minutes... the wings were small and i had to pluck the chicken before Eating because they had feathers still on parts. Now the hush puppies... they were burnt BLACK if you as a business see that you really burned your food and you still sold it to me, that tells me you don't care. Being disabled i went back and sat in the drive thru, the cashier was nice and sweet she came out to get them so they'd be ready when i went back around. Now at this time I'm eating the chicken and she brings the hush puppies out, still a tad bit dark but much better than before, i make it thru the line (after 15 minutes) and go by the racetrack, I opened the bag of hush puppies, bit one and 😠😠😠😠 this MTHRFKR... it was nothing but raw onion batter inside!! So i go back in line, showed the cashier who walked out to get them and she was just shaking her head and apologizing. I didn't even want them anymore, but willing to exchange for something else i told the lady I'll just get the corn nuggets, get to the window (after 15 minutes) and she said he told me to just give you your money back... He Didn't still offer the damn nuggets which he should've along with my money back since he messed up my order twice, but had the nerve to have an attitude and made me wait another ten minutes in line before he decided to open the drawer for the cashier to refund me. That A- hole will never get another dollar from me. I'll stick with Hooks for my wing dinners from now on! I hope that sh!t hole gets shut down! I drove to Long John Silver off Oakland and got me some of the most amazing hush puppies ever.. worth...

I wish I could give this place a higher rating because I honestly love the food and the cashier was nice but I walked in and I could see the was a man in the kitchen brushing his teeth in the sink. Now he wasn't in a uniform or working from what I could tell so I'm thinking he must have been the owner or maybe a manager. What made it even worst is he saw me looking right at him and he didn't care. He continued to brush his teeth and spit in the sink then return to the back. If anyone has ever gone inside snappers, you know that you can look right into the kitchen from the front counter. He did this in full view of any customer who walked in the building and didn't care. What bothered me even further is I seemed to be the only customer who was bothered by what I had seen. That showed me how much he cared about his establishment but maybe it's because he is dealing with customers who patronize his establishment despite him doing things like this. I won't be a customer any longer and I hope that after reading my review, some others won't either. That was so disgusting and unprofessional and arrogant of him to see absolutely nothing wrong with his behavior. I don't know if that's the sink they wash the fish in or dishes in. If you're doing to do that in broad daylight with customers ordering food, who knows what else you might be doing when no one is watching. That had to break all kinds of health violations. This location just recently reopened. After seeing this. I hope they get shut down again. I didn't feel valued. I felt disregarded. I'm Very disappointed...

I just went in this place to go through the drive-thru to get a drink because it was the most convenient thing at the time when I pulled up to the drive-thru menu I was hit with the smell of fried chicken and fish in a good way that immediately made me hungry. When I pulled up to the drive-thru window a man eventually greeted me who I assume was a manager or owner in a very friendly fashion offered me a menu. I ordered the four piece chicken tender meal and a drink which came out to around $11 and realized that I left my wallet at home and only had $7 with me. These people were still generous enough to offer me a large portion of food and a drink for the $7 that I had. It's nice to know that somewhere there's still human beings out there running the show and not just corporate zombies. I'm not writing this post of people go there with $7 to get more food I'm writing this post so that you can see that these people have exceptional service and they take care of their customers.
