McDougle Technical Institute — Local services in Pompano Beach

If I could give NEGATIVE stars I would!!! Waste of time and money. This institute is a joke!!!! Do NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE FOR FOOTBALL!!!!!!! Coaches do not care for your kids especially the head coach. Former NFL player with an ego and a chip on his shoulder. Not everyone should coach and he is a prime example of that. The dorms are a joke with plumbing and heating/cooling problems. The programs they offer are overpriced. How is a 6 month program the same amount as a 2 yr degree for massage therapy????!! Massage Therapy!!!!!!! 18k for a 6 month massage therapy program???

Son was there for their football program and was promised he would get training, help with recruiters/scouts and different football camps to help him transition to a D1 school. All lies. My son shared the neglect and disregard for him and his fellow teammates from the coaching staff were sad and disheartening. One child ended up committing suicide when he returned home because they failed him after making promise after promise to train and help him.

There are so many other things to list but just fair warning. Go anywhere else for your child to help them further their education. McDougal is a waste of time. Unprofessional staff and service when dealing with them. They'll gaslight you into believing it's a place to leave your child to help them with their future. They do not care!!!!!!!! For the love of God!! Please for your kid's sake send them elsewhere!!!! A parent that learned...

I have been trying to find out the cost of tuition and the class schedule for almost 2 weeks now. I went in person to the school and no one was available to tell me the cost or the scheduling, I had to submit my info and would be contacted later. I requested to be emailed because I am at work all day. Was I emailed? Nope! I was called twice and I unable to answer due to being at work and no voicemail was left . I called back when I had free time several different times and there was no answer each time. I called again one last time to ask again, and was told I would need to leave my contact information. Seems shady they cant just tell you the pricing or general information pertaining to the courses. I have called several other schools and they all told me the cost and scheduling without any hesitation or jumping...

Well I can’t speak for others based on my experience at MTI was great I leaned more than. I thought I was going to learned I started at MTI back in 2019 with the barber program while I was still playing football which was fun thought me something new I never thought I would be doing something that can help me in the future I can shave my own hair I don’t have to go the barbershop for that and also I’ve learned a lot at MTI in my opinion that’s the best choice I made coming out of high school where I didn’t have nowhere to go which give me a second chance to peruse my college career and also play football also learned a trade on that side how can you loose my expectations from them is for them to grow and get bigger hopefully...
