Ice Cream Station — Restaurant in Pompton Lakes

If I could give a zero star I would. Allow me to explain. My wife and I stopped by on 6/14/21 and had EXCELLENT service. Everything was 100% across the board. Then came 6/19/21. My God Son visited my wife and I with family and my wife decided to bring them to the Ice Cream Station @ Deli for some ice cream because we've always had great experience. I picked up a menu for a future order on my way out. I'm not sure what has changed within 6 days. The blond teen behind the counter told my wife, god son and family to leave and wait outside because they had no mask on. Nothing was posted on the premises regarding facial mask required and my wife pointed this out to the blond teen. She made a sarcastic sound and told us all to go outside and wait. When the current customer was done, the blond teen told us we can enter. My wife refused and decided to order from the outside window. Aside from getting the order wrong, the size of the servings did not justify the price. I'm sorry but I really wanted to show my god son a wonderful time by going there. We ordered 2 scoop of ice cream in waffle cone.

He gave us 2 soft ice cream in 2 different cones. We said we don’t want this we ordered ice cream.

He said if you want ice cream you should day hard ice cream:)) if you have a ice cream store at least check the definition of your products from google.

He didn’t give our order and he said we must buy these soft ones which he offered.

He didnt give our money back and we left the soft ice cream there. He was rude and know nothing about ice cream. We will never buy anything from this store again

I’ve decided to update this review since I was just harassed. Previously, I commented how I was treated poorly with the service being rude to me. If you are referring to my review on the cardinal cafe saying I “attacked” them, i commented about there service being rude and their food being overpriced. Also, if you did stalk my social media which is absurd as it is, you would have seen that I give a lot more positive reviews than I give negative reviews.
