Chocolate Palace — Restaurant in Pompton Lakes

What a fantastic dessert spot! I recently visited and was immediately impressed by the fabulous menu and the very nice, clean atmosphere.

My main reason for going was to try the famous Dubai Chocolate Covered Strawberries, and they absolutely lived up to the hype—so yummy! But the real stars for me were the Lotus Crepes, which quickly became my favorite, and the Dubai chocolate crepe, which was also incredibly good.

While the regular waffles and chocolate-covered strawberries were decent, they didn't quite hit the same high notes as the crepes and the Dubai chocolate strawberries. However, the extensive selection of shakes, iced and hot drinks, smoothies, and other treats means there's something for everyone.

I had the pistachio crepe, which was out of this world delicious. The crepe was freshly made and hot. Inside the crepe and around it were fresh sliced bananas. Then, it was topped with two drizzles, white chocolate and pistachio, and then the whole mess was dusted with chopped pistachios. Amazing! Excellent service, too! We had ordered a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side, but they forgot it. When I inquired, they were super nice and ended up giving me two scoops instead of just the one I ordered. This is such a cute little place! The minute my husband and I walked in, we were greeted with a hello, and how are you. Very nice staff! I got the Smores crepe, and my husband got the Ferrero crepe. Both were so delicious! We did not expect the crepes to be that big, but wow, were we wrong! They were big enough for a meal and we were full for the rest of the evening! Prices are good for what we got! We will be back and plan on getting the shakes once the weather gets a little warmer. Until then, it's...
