I came here to have a bad install from another shop diagnosed and repaired. First visit, Bobby the install tech was absolutely determined to find out the issue(s) and fix everything as best he could. Massive improvement but only so much he could do.
I wound up returning to just get a new amp/DSP combo installed because newer cars really need a DSP to avoid distortion, something the first shop really didn't want to install, among the other issues with the first install.
Second visit to CarTunes, I got the install done. Tim, the manager, is a solid dude. He's honest about the best fit for someone's requests rather than just trying to sell the most expensive stuff.
Unfortunately I was still having intermittent tweeter crackling after this (which they didn't catch because sometimes it goes days without doing this, not their fault). So I came back for a marathon diagnosis in which Bobby and J. spent about 7 hours trying to trace this issue and nail it down. Wound up replacing the tweeters, got an exceptionally thorough re-tune of the DSP. Unfortunately I got some very light crackling on the way home, but at this point the only possibility left is that the (brand new) factory headunit is sending a wonky signal sometimes. It's still miles better than before and I don't blame them at all because I am certain they acted in good faith, and I agreed to the tweeter swap before it was finalized.
I wish I had come to Car Tunes from the beginning. Tim, Bobby, and J. were all so patient, never condescending about explanations, and totally committed to making this the best they could. Each of them spent a lot of time talking to me, listening to the system, making sure I was happy with it.
I saw Tim and Bobby interact with a lot of other customers over my three visits, and each one was treated with respect and empathy and listened to, even when someone came in understandably panicky about a device problem that had nothing to do with Car Tunes' work, or when customers had a language barrier (which is sad to have to note but… some people have no compassion). I requested they install a OEM Hyundai Remote start module, (side note: do not even think of putting the OEM system into your car if you have a Hyundai. Hyundai cheaped out and the module uses t-taps rather than do it the right way with a dedicated harness). The install was perfect and the lock/unlock on the fobs worked but sadly these units need some dealer programming for the remote start to work and the dealerships in the area are very unhelpful with that. Mike recommended their system which was way better. Remote starter with two fobs, and install for $249 and it was quick, only 3 hours. They also took out the old remote start system at no charge. If you want to put a remote starter, I strongly recommend you come to Cartunes and not the dealership because the third party remote starters have much better functionality and the fobs are really cheap to replace and program if you lose them unlike the factory remotes which require dealer level programming. Also with their system my original non-remote start still works so that's another plus over the dealer remote start....

New front desk guy Zack needs more training and shadowing because he doesn’t know a thing! For every question you ask him he has to go in the back and make a phone call. I scheduled an appointment to take my vehicle back hoping they would make it right, instead I was told “it looks great to me”. I bet it does since they are the ones providing the service and not the one who is driving the car everyday and in most light have to look around the debris as I’m driving. Which is not even safe.
