Cass Lake Hotel — Hotel in Waterford Township

The room looks good but it had bed bugs told front desk and pretended to be shocked while the whole time there is a smashed bed bug right in front of him went to store got stuff to treat it while treating it we found blood all over on bottom side of bed spread gross ! No top sheet only flat sheet on bottom ,Window did not lock or have screen on bottom floor anybody could come in. no cover over nonworking fan in bathroom, no decent TV unless you have a subscription of your own to a streaming channel,you want ice you have to get it from front desk they obviously think everyone is a thief ! No lamps no pictures no microwave no refrigerator and you pay a $10 deposit for reasons unknown to person working desk just a very unprofessional place but they did do a good job at some of the remodel and this cost me $85 got a room with 2 beds and only got towels for two people until we left to eat then they came in while we were gone to put towels in for third person YES THEY DO HAVE BED BUGS shrugged shoulders when I said we won't be back he didn't care I stood in office for 5 min ringing buzzer before he finished his cigarette and...

It feels like the Bates motel except with junkies. I went there for a 1 night getaway with my wife but we were too freaked out to stay overnight. At first I was excited, the rooms looked nice online and were a good price. When I checked in the front desk takes a copy of your ID, which was unsettling. The key packet they gave me was reused with multiple room numbers scratched off. I immediately felt uncomfortable when I entered the room. I could hear all the noises from all the rooms around me. The room itself was in good condition over than the bed seemed to creak very loudly with the slightest of movement. I tried to relax but ultimately, the noise of all the surrounding rooms, people coming and going around the room, made me both feel unsafe and uneasy. I decided to leave. I came back in the morning to pick up my deposit and the gentleman at the counter said, my photo ID would be kept on file and not destroyed. This is the worse place I have ever stayed at. The room had peeling paint from the top of the wall. The heat did not work at all. Warm water came from faucet if you did want to try to get a drink. Lame blanket to try to stay warm. I had to sleep with sweat shirt and pants and still froze. I didn't bother to try to change rooms in middle of the night for fear that another room may have bed bugs that room didn't appear to have any so I was counting my blessings for that. It was late and snowy only reason I stopped for the night, wish I would have kept looking down the road further or maybe slept in car. Any place is better than this. They didn't offer any money back when called to complain about no heat either. When I pulled up I heard arguing about baby daddy should have been my clue then to keep driving....
