GameStop — Local services in Poplar Bluff

i recently pre-ordered the new pokémon game series scarlet and violet. after the purchase checking my receipt i noticed the employee snuck in a warranty they didn't even ask me for which charged me 10$ extra from a 120$ game to begin with. it got even worse when i went to pick up the games-the employee straight up unseal my games, opened them and put warranty stickers over the inside cover art. frustrated i went ahead and called gamestop corp which were stunned after hearing the gamestop employee opened my games to put warranty stickers inside the covers;; they went on to tell me they don't have the rights to unseal a buyers purchased game- so yeaaa super disappointed;; avoid this gamestop if you don't want the game you purchased to be opened. (hopefully their management will be fixed once corp reaches...

Total waist of my time and drive to get there. I live close to an hour away. Had a switch with accessories, games, so many controllers, and they would only take the games and controllers due to there not being a little stand on the back and the serial number fell off from the bottom of it because it got played a little and those things come off to easy on them machines. Lost my business that day. At least there was a place called game exchange to pick it up! I recommend them any day before gamestop! Good price for it all and got everything you could...

Overall I have shopped here multiple times over the past few years and I've found it to be a really good place as far as the personnel that they hire tend to often know quite a bit about the games and the game systems although they used to carry a lot more games from older systems and I've gotten away from that quite a bit as well as they used to carry movies DVDs and they've gotten away from that quite a bit and more towards the novelty toys and t-shirts and things that are easier to just give a carte-blanche choice or nothing but I still shop there...
