Marshalls — Local services in Poplar Bluff

This place seriously lacks in customer service and product.I haven’t been in here in months, stopped in this evening and see nothing has changed.Empty shelves and a messy store.I had my hands full of small items and despite passing at least 4 employees in the floor not one offered me a basket or cart.From the gaggle of young employees at counter when walked that were more invested in talking about corsages & prom than helping customers, I could here the conversation all the way to the back of the store. Employees there are more focused on talking with each other than providing real customer service. In the beauty section 2 gals carried on about their personal lives as if no one else was in the store. Neither one asked if I needed any help or if I was finding everything ok. They treated me as if I was invisible. The cashiers were in a loud huddle. I approached the register with the number lit up as is the custom to know which register is open only yo be asked to go to a different register because the one I went to was closed. Prices were very reasonable but this place is sensory HELL for people with autism. Music was kind of loud, a beeper wouldn't go off for up to 30 minutes just ringing..I think someone accendently set it off but no one tried to turn it off. I had to leave before having a meltdown. And the baby clothes were slightly confusing. Didn't have much of a separation from baby to toddler. All in all, I think it was just a bad day to come to Marshalls. Maybe I'll have a better time next...
