Washington Square Shopping Center — Local services in Poquoson

Washington Square is an intricate part of this community. It is right off of Route 17 and provides multiple shopping amenities. I am NOT reviewing the stores in this shopping center. I am reviewing the overall look and feel of the management. Unfortunately, the signage is from the late 1980s or early 1990s. It appears muted and standoff-ish. I am certain that the shoppes that are housed here would do better if management focused on landscape, revitalizing the signage and take a second look at the parking lot infrastructure. There's plenty here. Anchored by Food Lion, Roses and Firestone ... there's also an ABC store and a Goodwill, as well as several places to get a good meal. Bubba's Shrimp Shack has excellent seafood, including fish and shrimp tacos. There's a Subway behind it, if you're craving a footlong. There's also a Taco Bell and a nice Italian restaurant. You can also take your child to dance classes or drop your grandma at the senior center to play a game...

Lots of places to shop in the shopping center. Places to eat, shop or just walk around. Each shop deserves it's own specific review. Shopping center is easy to see from the main road.
