Now you have another girl who is probably less than 20 years of age and she cannot figure out what the issue is or offer me a reasonable explanation as to why, if the card is activated and showing linked to my Target app why itâs not working. She tells me well your application shows that you have another card and I said, that one is expired, so it shouldnât matter because the one on the app, matches the physical card in my hand. Can you explain to me why the barcode wonât work? She gets very defensive and says âIâm trying to help youâ and Iâm thinking, no you really arenât, you donât even know what youâre doing. Please advise your Port Charlotte FL target staff that applications for a REDCARD debit card can also be done online (anywhere either on your phone or computer) without having a copy of your bank account check or having a print out confirmation.
I was refused by two of the target staff personnel on applying for a REDCARD debit card because âThe only way to apply for the REDCARD debit card is if you had a paper copy of you bank check or if you go home and go online and apply and bring back a print out of the application confirmation.â For a large corporation supporting and promoting reusable and recyclable products I found it hard to believe that it was âTHE ONLY WAYâ. Because I am who I am, I sat there and did a REDCARD debit card application on my phone linked it to my online bank login and got a confirmation barcode to be able to start using my REDCARD debit card right away.

It started out with my purchased Huawei Watch having a dead pixel. I called Target support and it got me nowhere except they told me to go to NY local store. I went to the local store and the staff in customer service were SO nice. It saddens me that the in store support has to call the normal phone support number to get anything done, and with it being the holiday season, the guy in custom service had to wait on the phone with me for 40+ minutes to get an answer. Target's phone support is all foreign based with people who are difficult to understand. It's insane that the poor customer service employees have to call and wait on the same line as the other thousand people calling in to track an order and what not. In the end, I got a rain check and was able to buy the item again (and it worked great). While the people at this target were wonderful to me, Target as a whole will not get any more...
