Weekends is one of the most interesting and nicest stores in Port Huron (with a smaller store open seasonally in Lexington). The owners have surveyed the categories of merchandise offered elsewhere in the area and filled in many of the gaps: useful and attractive kitchen gadgets; upscale baby items; home and seasonal decorative objects, Michigan-made where possible; a curated selection of food items for a simple dinner or for entertaining, including bread, cheeses and cookies shipped six days a week from Zingerman’s in Ann Arbor. And saving my favorite for last: gorgeous American-made cotton sweaters and tops that wear beautifully and can go in the clothes washer. Note to Brittany, who commented below: That wasn’t stalking.
