John's Appliance — Local services in Port Saint Lucie

Bought a washer / dryer from John who explained that they rebuild the insides and completely refurbish all critical components. Seemed like a good deal as it was cheaper that buying new from a big box store. Fast forward 1 year and we have had 3 service calls on the dryer and the washer has now stopped draining. Service tech from John's appliance comes out and doesn't realize we bought the washer from his place. Tells us that the set is 15+ years old and the internal components are junk, completely rusted and we will continue to have issues. We then get a quote to replace the washer for $300+. Which is what I initially paid for the washer. So at this point my original purchase of the set was $600 and there asking for another $300 after basically selling us junk. On top of that they want to charge a delivery fee. Don't waste your time and money trying...

We have been using them for years and they have always done a wonderful job. They will let you know if it's worth fixing or replacing and they've always had a great used appliance for us at a very great price!
