The Lake House — Local services in Portage Township

Stopped by yesterday late morning, to find they didn't open until noon. Came back today at 5 to see they closed early at 3 today. Nothing on social, nothing on the website, and they don't answer the phone or have voice mail set up. Hobby Lobby, Corsos and Kohl's all have nautical themed items and they are open and helpful. Also found a nautical place in Milan that we will check out tomorrow. As for the Lake House, try at your own risk. I always say, I will call out bad service, but I also call out good service. After posting this, someone from The Lake House contacted me within an hour or so letting me know what happened. They went above and beyond to try and rectify the situation and I appreciate that. They regained my trust and unbeknownst to them, them gained my business over the weekend where they could not have been nicer....

Came over today at noon per their store hours but it was still closed. Stayed a few minutes just to see if anyone would open the door but nothing. Checked the door again to make sure we didn't miss a sign stating they would be closed but nothing. Checked their Facebook and also nothing stating on there either of just not opening..
