Cashier asked to see my ID for a purchase. After i DID SHOW MY ID, I explained to the cashier that she is not allowed to request an id for a purchase unless it's to validate age requirements. She got snippy with me so I explained how Visa prohibits that as per there website unless the store has arranged an agreement with Visa to allow for that requirement. I then explained to them how a sign stating the store policy to ID everyone would eliminate the issue. The manager stepped in and said we can't do that. So I replied then you shouldnt ask for my ID. On my way out I overheard them bad mouthing me and my family. I was only trying to help them not get in trouble now I'm considering reporting the incident to higher management for harrassment. The store was great. It was clean and easy to shop, a lot of really cool stuff perfect for christmas shopping. A lot of good stuff for ridiculous prices, and very unprofessional staff. Price was rung up incorrectly, and despite showing the cashier the pricing error, she refused to acknowledge the issue or offer any support, forcing us to look for a manager.
