Cashier asked to see my ID for a purchase. After i DID SHOW MY ID, I explained to the cashier that she is not allowed to request an id for a purchase unless it's to validate age requirements. She got snippy with me so I explained how Visa prohibits that as per there website unless the store has arranged an agreement with Visa to allow for that requirement. I then explained to them how a sign stating the store policy to ID everyone would eliminate the issue. The manager stepped in and said we can't do that. So I replied then you shouldnt ask for my ID. On my way out I overheard them bad mouthing me and my family. I was only trying to help them not get in trouble now I'm considering reporting the incident to higher management for harrassment.
