Portage Cinnabon & Carvel Express — Restaurant in Portage

I came to Cinnabon knowing I have a dislike for cinnamon. I asked Ethan on shift if there was a good cover up flavor, and he said Oreo or Caramel. I ended up selecting Caramel, and got a "Mochalatta" too. I took a moment to pay, and he mentioned they have a Warheads Cinnabon too??? I had to. I did! You guys get it. Post meal: Caramel one is the perfect sweetness, not overdoing any flavor, but not a flavor left out. The Cinnamon level really wasn't to my dislike, and maybe they have changed my mind with it. The Mochalatta tastes like a rich and dark chocolate milk with an amazing aftertaste. I could see this being popular among younger audiences. Watermelon Warheads Cinnabon, that was something. My first look was fear. Red and clearly sour, yet so tempting, like the devil whispered in my ear that it was destiny to behold such a sight. Never in my life have I been so happily surprised. It popped in my mouth even after I had swallowed my bite, and left a sweet taste in my mouth after the sour. Absolutely amazing, and though its limited, I think many customers who try it may want it to stick around. Hopefully I can come back to try it twice!! Update: I talked to the manager David and he was very nice and understanding and made sure that I got my refund. From now on we will only be purchasing in store. Due to this I did change my 1 star to a 3.

I placed an online order on Feb. 21, 2025 and it was canceled by the store due to them not having all of the supplies to complete my order which was a 6 piece classic cinnamon rolls with a side of caramel and pecans. I was told I would receive my refund within 5-7 business days but never did. I have called the location multiple times to speak with a manager about this and I keep being told that the manager is not there. I called the corporate customer service number and was told that the manager at the store declined my refund. I’m not sure why you would cancel my refund when I never received my order. Well, at the mall, I noticed the security guard had a mocha latte freeze. I asked him where he got it and he gave me directions. So I put my daughter in the stroller and headed over. When I got there, I was standing at the register well one of the female employees stared at me. About 45 seconds later I asked if there was somewhere else I needed to go to place my order, and she had me walk around the security border, even though my daughter and I were the only people in line. Tried to place my order and she said that she didn’t have that right now. So I asked her about the security guard having one less than five minutes prior.
