Dollar Tree — Local services in Porterville

You all need new staff there attitudes need adjusting or they need better training the way this store is ran is a joke the staff need to come to work and appreciate they have a job now i rather drive the extra 10 min to the olive store then to have to deal with rude dollar tree employees there were three femails working a homless woman came in so i could buy her something to eat two of the workers walked up and tried to kick her out i explained she was there with me and i was going to boy her some food and they told me to leave or they would call the cops the third worker stood there and laughed i thought i was on the show what would you do sad to say i was not i think the minimum wage imcrese got to there head the corperate office needs to let all the staff there go and rebuild the staff from all new staff just because a woman is homless and i do not know why she is not allowed in the store and honestly i do not care the reason no one knows what that woman is going threw the employess have no right to judge what if that was there mother that was hungry i can bet they would not trear her that way while all the customers watched its sad to say i am embarrassed to say i use to spend my money there but i can promise you i will never do that again i do not know how them three employees can sleep at night knowing they treated another human being the way they did i know if i was there mother i would not have raided my children like that i am ashamed of them and how they are raised shame on you you are taking your job way to serious on judgment day may god have mercy...

I go to this store a lot and its a total mess. The employees are rude and a lot of merchandise just sits in the aisles. One manager was on the phone with an employee and he was verbally abusive to the person on the other end. Once I went there and the ceiling was leaking and there were buckets under the leak on the floor.. The bathrooms are disgusting. I don't think they are ever cleaned. I only go there because SOMETIMES they have things that aren't at the other store.If it wasn't such a good deal on some items I wouldn't come here. They are hiring but I wouldn't apply . I went to Visalia at their DT and I found some great things. I wish I lived closer to go there instead. Very disappointed. It used to be way better. Oh also employees on the phone while on the floor instead of stocking new...

The stores are frequently low in stock in the arts & craft section. They could also use another employee to check people out and help with questions from shoppers. Last visit there was only 1 check stand open and 11 people in line. In the past I have had an employee offer to help me with my bags to my car and they were very friendly about it.
