Please think twice before getting an Athlas Orthogonal, we drove 4 hours to Portland cause I thought this could be a great option to feel better based on the reviews and their YouTube videos I decided to give a try even before my first appointment I called and ask the receptionist if it was a safe procedure and asked her about any possible bad reactions to the treatment ,she said yes it was safe and made me feel confident about it.I got my appointment on July 20th 2024 immediately after my adjustment I felt bad dizzy,my neck got stiff,Chiro said it was normal and it will calm down but I’d didn’t it’s getting worse every day Today eleven days after the procedure Im still in severe pain every day I’was admitted to the hospital two days ago and im still here ,the doctor at the emergency room said the procedure got my neck strained and even worse than before, ears even more full and painful than before, the severe pain got my heart rhythm out of control,I had to get several medications they took me in an ambulance from home and I don’t seem to get any better,my life turned upside down I regretted it so much gettin that adjustment, the spine doctor said that I probably need surgery.I spoke to the Chiro and he said that I needed to come back for more adjustments at least three times per week and I would be fine, are you kidding me ???who guarantees that you wont hurt me again even more?He never warned me about this severe consequences. One of the Chiro that called me said that only 3% of the people get this bad reactions, wow and they called it safe!.Today I’m in the worst pain of my life under string medications for pain I can’t believe they hurt me like this ! UPDATE: I will need surgery to fix the damage he made to my neck!Ive been in excruciating pain everyday since July 20th please don’t do this adjustment, my doctor told me I was lucky I didn’t get paralyzed’Now I have trouble walking, vertigo ear pain, nausea I wasnt this bad before the adjustment and now I have to stay in bed most of the time until my surgery date I regret it so much...
Read moreI was looking for a new solution to chronic headaches. A couple of car accidents plus getting older had me at the point where I would have some level of headache most days of the week. Some worse than others. I've seen various chiropractors over the years and they all did their best, but until I found Cascade Chiropractic & Wellness, I could just not seem to get rid of them.
Most of the previous chiropractors I have seen over the years all did the 'neck snap' to try and resolve the headaches. Sometimes those treatments actually made things worse. I was taking way too much Tylenol and Advil. Did a lot of research and stumbled upon this clinic and the Atlas Orthogonal method of treatment. Wasn't sure if this would help, but it I thought it was worth a try.
I met with Dr. Todd Johnson. He spent a lot of time asking questions and listening to me, as well as taking a few x-rays. He was realistic, but felt the Atlas Orthogonal method would be a good choice. The machine he used for this was weird looking. I will say that... But after the first treatment, my headaches were reduced by about 70%. I was both surprised and impressed. I did go back a week later to be treated. I've been going on and off for several months now, only as needed. Other than an occasional headache, I rarely have to take any Tylenol or Advil.
I'm sure the other Doc is great as well, but Dr. Johnson is a rockstar! Rachel at the front desk is as well. Easy to set up the first appointment, parking is easy and they always try to accommodate your schedule.
I truly appreciated their friendliness too. You can tell they care about their clients. I cannot recommend these folks highly enough. Thank you Dr....
Read moreI rarely write reviews, but these are well-deserved. My review has two parts.
I found Dr. Cooper after 9 months of terrible physical therapy from a car accident. I was hardly any better off and my physical therapists were suggesting cervical spine surgery when I wasn’t getting any relief from them. Enter Dr. Cooper. He adjusted me after taking 8 x-rays of my neck. I had instant relief. Unfortunately my neck had resembled a Jenga tower at the end of the game (and had been that way for 9 months), so healing has been a long process. He was the only health professional for years to get me any kind of relief.
Enter Gabe Feit. Former personal trainer turned massage therapist. Honestly, I had low expectations going in. I’ve tried dozens of massage therapists in the last 5 years. None of them helped any of my symptoms for more than a few hours. I’ve had four 1 hour sessions with him, and my body literally looks different. He just digs in scar tissue, adhesions that feel like they’ve been Gorilla-glued together, and golf-ball sized knots like butter. His technique is gradually increasing intensity, constantly checking in with you for pressure and location of pain, and PNF. I would not recommend Gabe if you are looking to fall asleep. He’s actually going to get joints to move in ways they haven’t in a very long time, and sometimes you have to remember to breathe. After my last session, my shoulders and neck felt so light I thought I was floating. He’s worth every penny, and my adjustments by Dr. Cooper afterwards were...
