I work close by and I've only been in here a handful of times. Yesterday I got breakfast and they messed up my order, most likely due to the language barrier. It was small and inconsequential to the point that I didn't even feel the need to bring the food back. I went in to get breakfast again this morning and tried to explain to the lady in a very friendly manner what I was looking for yesterday so that we could get today's order correct. She started to argue with me about what I said, telling me that I in fact did not say what I was claiming. I explained to her that I was not asking for a refund or anything for free, I was just trying to get today's order correct. She raised her voice and adamantly proclaimed that I was wrong. I again repeated that I was not looking for a handout of any kind, only trying to get today's order correct. After about 15 minutes of being yelled at when I was calmly trying to explain to her what the problem was I offered to go get food somewhere else and she quickly agreed. I paused at this quick reaction by her and said "You understand I work close by and was coming in to get a $20 order almost everyday for a couple weeks?". And again I tried to explain to her that I wasn't asking for any kind of hand out just to make sure my order was correct today. She was all too quick to lose a regular customer, that spends a decent amount per order(ordering for a group), over her own ego. The only issue she seemed to have the entire time was that she didn't feel she did anything wrong and was offended I would make such an accusation. The thing was, she was running back and forth between taking my order and the drive through the entire time yesterday. It's no wonder she misheard me. A simple correction on my order today was all I wanted, but they lost a daily customer because of it. Very disappointed with the customer service experience here, the food it's a little pricey but...

Having moved from the Bay Area, where every where you turn you can find great Mexican food, I've been looking for a place to ease my burrito cravings. I have ordered the carnitas burrito my way (carnitas, guac, black beans, onions, cilantro, add chicken, and the spicy brown salsa) several times and it's been delicious. Their regular burrito has meat of your choice, rice, beans either pinto or black, and pico de gallo. I haven't had anything I would describe as greasy. Their carnitas is crispy and delicious (not drowned in soupy sauce), and they have diced chicken with spices and not that shredded crap I keep finding in my burritos and tacos around here. They have a great salsa they call "brown" which is made in house from roasted tomatoes, onions, and peppers. They also make a great habanero salsa, and a green less spicy one. All three are on the counter and ready for the taking along with chiles and the regular carrot, jalapeño, and onion mix.

I've tried Por Que No?, which was pretty good, but not quite what I was looking for. Missing that street vibe that makes Mexican food so yummy. Also Cha Cha Cha, which has great "Mama Beef", but is pricey and not open late. I also see many people eating giant plates of chicken or beef served with beans and rice, salsa and guac. They do have street tacos, but specify those are what you want because I see tacos on the menu served in a hard shell.

I too have found their staff to be really nice and have gotten my silly diva burrito order right every time. I've given four stars because I haven't tried everything and can only comment on my burrito. Plus they have a drive through and are open on the weekends...

(see pics) BIGGEST RIPOFF IN PORTLAND !! 1st time. Ordered a side of rice and beans and fish taco. $12 I'm used to don pedro's were aside of bison Rice and beans is a big container of rice and beans like multiple big spoonfuls period what I received here was one large spoonful in a tiny container. They were blind and the consistency of oatmeal. The rice taste like absolutely nothing. There wasn't even any spice or taste!!

Beans equally terrible terrible in their own way.ive had baby food with more texture. The traste was truly uniquely terrible. I suffered two bites to get the description down correctly.

If you mixed a dirty dish those flakes A burnt coffee that gets stuck to the bottom of the coffee cup.with an overpiwering aftertaste of Mango juice that sat in the sun and started to fermente You'll have the signature taste of these beans. Now I understand why. They offer $1.99 bean burrito.

Fush Taco $6 or 2 firv$9. Oh helz no! Having the Excitement i& optimism Of newly wed on their honeymoon.brighteyed eye gleefully handed the woman my twelve dolla..

Did I mention that it was 10 o'clock on Sunday night? We're only 4 cars and drive through. But I sat there for 40 minutes.....

And before I could finish this review Came the stomach cramps and nausea of my first time ever) food poisoning..

i am...

I’m terribly disappointed, last Sunday the 8th I got two bean and cheese burritos around 10pm - at 3 am I felt terribly nauseous and suddenly I had to throw up, but it didn’t end there, I felt like I was going to faint. At 6am I woke up so nauseous, this time around I had nothing left in my stomach to throw up but my stomach acids. I couldn’t even hold water or crackers. I went to the ER and spent most of my day unable to drink or hold any food at all. I was in so much pain and agony! To make matters worse the ER was packed with so many people and I had to wait 5 hours to get an IV with fluids. I was so sick I felt like I was hallucinating, I’ve never been this sick in my life. I’m not one to write reviews to bash a business, but this is a matter of health and safety. I had to call out of work and spend the next day trying to recover. As I spoke with some friends about my experience, I was even more disappointed to hear that they’ve also have gotten sick from this place. 😓 you’ll think that bean and cheese burritos is a safe option but I was wrong… I’m sure not everyone will have this experienced but I did went through it and I need to put this review out there.

Got an order of chips and guacamole. That seems pretty straightforward. What came was some sort of soggy nacho with wilted cheese and an unidentifiable lilac-colored paste. Is it beans? I don't know. But the guacamole itself had a consistency similar to Vaseline. I did eat the burrito. I'm glad I got extra sauce, not because it was good, but as something to offset the total lack of seasoning on anything in there. I'm not a picky eater, and it's a rare occasion I won't eat something. Maybe this is overly harsh for a Monday at 1am drive through trip, but this is not my first disappointment coming here.

First and absolute last time eating here - Never have i ever though i would say a taco is gross - until i tried this place - ordered 5 carne asada tacos that were DRY, OVERCOOKED AND FLAVORLESS - even with the limes and the watered down green sauce didnt help with moisture nor flavor, maybe they could have added more cilantro and onion mix to add some flavor ? i dont know what could have helped these pathetic things they pass off as tacos but........ - never going again
