I felt the need to give a shout out to the manager at the Division store today after witnessing an absolutely toxic customer interaction. The woman ahead of me was so rude and condescending while the manager was clearly on the phone. Then proceeded to insult them saying that “they need more retail experience” all because this lady felt that she had the right to open a packed product. She then just aimlessly stood there so no one else could get rung up until I said excuse me when I walked up to the counter. Apparently she felt that she was “still in line” even though she clearly wasn’t ready to actually make a purchase. Why am I going to the trouble of saying all of this? Because I too am a retail manager for a small business and I am extremely impressed by the manager’s ability to stay calm and kind while they continued to try to answer the rude woman’s questions. When I walked away she continued to complain how she was in line. I admit to glaring at her as I walked out and hopefully that didn’t make it worse for the manager. Audacity is obviously at an all time high. Collage is a wonderful store and I highly recommend paying the place a visit. It’s always neat, clean, and organized and every employee is eager to help you if you have any questions. I hope this “Karen” doesn’t cancel out my 5 star review, but if it does, at least people can...
Read moreThis is a cute store with a great selection of arts and crafts. I’ve shopped here several times over the last five years and I’d say every other time I’ve been made to feel like I’m about to steal something. Today was the straw that broke the camels back. I am dark skinned. If that was a factor. I want to throw that in. I was in the store rounding up items for my daughters 15th birthday when a middle aged store employee, shoulder length dark brown hair, managerial air, stepped in my path and asked if she can hold the items I had picked out and place them at the register. Her tone was phony nice with and felt condescending. I didn’t let her take my items to the register while I finished shopping. I needed to reference what I had already picked so I’d know what else I needed. I paid cash at the register. The gal at the register was nice.
This is the last time I’ll set foot in that store. I’m a veteran, I’ve worked customer service, service industry, and I am currently a firefighter. I know the tricks of the trade and what method was used on me today. I deserve to be treated better. Stop stereotyping and profiling. Especially in this day in age. We will call you...
Read moreIn regards to our visit here July 3rd 2018:
No customers in the store except for my husband and I, along with 2 workers who never even looked our way, greeted, or asked if we needed help. I finally had to ask a lady at the register and it was like pulling teeth trying to get any knowledgeable advice! Once I asked for help and went to purchase 80$ worth of supplies, SHE ASKED ME TO FIND THE PRICES OF AT LEAST 4 ITEMS!!! Being the nice southern lady I am, I was happy to oblige.

DID I MENTION THEY BOTH STARTED LAUGHING AT US WHEN WE TURNED AROUND AND LEFT. What year is this!?
One more thing: I really wish she would have taken time to pack the items I bought.. the rocks I purchased were thrown in the bag with little figurines and they got scratched up and broken once I returned to Arkansas :(
Follow Up 7/27 I can see the owner responded to low rated reviews and I'm hoping she will...
