Someday — Restaurant in Portland

Unethical business practices. Rude owner and employees. Our party of 3 came in 8/5 around 9:30. A table just opened and they said they would clear it for us. However, instead of doing so the 2 girls stood there talking and completed disregarded us. We then proceed to just sit down and she eventually came to clear it and wipe it down. While we were looking at the menu, she sat a party of 2 right next to us and immediately brought them water and asked what she could get started for them. And she completed disregarded us afterwards and walked around while looking at us and acting as if she was busy just to avoid us. And my friend finally gets her attention and asks for some water, she glared at us and said “yeah, give me a moment.” And proceeds to walk away and disappears. Did not make sense the way she acted. Racist owner and employees. AVOID THIS PLACE. There are much much better options in Portland. Take you business else where as this place clearly does not care about...

Someday, in my opinion is the gem you've been searching for. I've been coming here for about a year now, and have experienced nothing short of excellence. Every cocktail and food item I have ordered always leaves me wanting more, but to clear they don't leave something to be desired. The level of quality and consistency and attentiveness they bring as a service is something to celebrate. The atmosphere is also notable, as they have executed a minimalistic style that provides a feeling of being transported away from the average PDX experience, which sets them apart from the rest and raises the bar for aesthetics and lounge experiences. I cannot recommend Someday enough, and I mean that literally. The amount I talk about Someday to friends and strangers who sit at the bar I work at would call me obsessed but I prefer to say I'm impressed.
