A Hidden Gem for Budget-Friendly Shopping!
We've been shopping at Deal R US for almost a year now, and it has truly become our go-to spot for incredible deals on groceries and household essentials. While our first experience wasnât perfect, we voiced our concerns to a staff member, and they were receptive and understanding. Since then, weâve had nothing but positive experiences!
This store operates differently from traditional supermarketsâitâs a discount store, meaning they receive surplus items from other retailers. Once you understand how to shop here, itâs an absolute game-changer! Weâve found amazing deals on fresh vegetables and fruits, many of which are organic. One thing to keep in mind is that some items, like pre-packaged produce (strawberries, blueberries, grapes, etc.), are such an amazing deal and that is why you canât pick and choose individual pieces. But honestly, when youâre getting two boxes for a dollar, itâs an unbeatable bargain! Some shoppers donât always follow the storeâs rules, which can lead to frustration for employees, but if you respect the guidelines, the shopping experience is smooth and enjoyable.
Beyond the savings, what truly makes Deal R US special is its impact on the community. The owner isnât just running a businessâheâs providing affordable access to fresh produce for families who might otherwise struggle with the rising costs of healthy food. Thanks to this store, weâve saved hundreds of dollars while maintaining a nutritious diet.
Shopping here has even become a fun experience for my daughters, who used to dread grocery trips. Now, we enjoy hunting for great deals together, making it a bonding activity rather than a chore. Yes, some days you win and some you loose. Itâs hit and miss, but if you constantly check you will be amazed !!
I genuinely hope this store continues to grow and expand because it has been a blessing in so many ways. If youâre looking for healthy food at unbeatable prices, give Deal R US a tryâyou wonât regret...
Read moreIve been shopping here for years- the deals are simply tremendous! Where else can you get JennieO ground turkey in one lb packs for a buck fifty nine ?? Its nearky double that-elsewhere. I also enjoy buying cereal for just a buck fifty nine. I can find huge bags of sliced black olives for only 2 bucks. Anyway the point is, i spent 22 dollors there, and went home with 2 really full bags of food - way more food than the two bags i bought at a competator that had cost 40 for two bags of food and was only 12 items. The cashier was all smiles and really nice. I try to bring the store bags and boxes when i can, i dont mind being a part if the solution. One part of it wasent too great- i asked a male employee with very short hair- twice what the price of something right infront of him was, he seemed distracted and bothered and it felt like he was going to keep ignoring me. It was only after i'd said " oh, your helpful", that he decided to respond. Interaction with the help is everything. Hopeing i dont feel creeped out by him againđ¤. I am sorry, but it needed to be said, i think. I will of course continue to visit- and thankyou for truely keeping the costs down in these hard...
Read moreI LOVE this store! Great Prices, Customers who appreciate what the owners are doing for their community. They have all sorts of items from new coffee makers, canned food, cereals, household "staples", diapers, pet food/care, frozen meat, dairy products and fruit delivery practically every day. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! *In reply to a recent "review" on here from an "A. Nicole", I was there at the store that very day. I heard you ask if they accept EBT/OregonTrail. There are MULTIPLE signs as you ENTER the store (Front Door) all over the isles and at the cashiers counter stating that they do NOT accept it. Then as you queried "said" cashier, you stated "No wonder no one comes here anymore" (RUDE!) and "said" cashier was offended because this is their place of work/income, pride and "Family" and YOU did FRANKLY offend THEM of all the work they do for all us appreciative customers. The cashier then said "Please Leave Now!. There was NOT ONE SINGLE threat made towards you, just someone standing their ground and Backing their Family. So... Ms. Nicole, Please DO go to another store, they don't need/want your attendance at *...
