This place is absolutely amazing!! The food is phenomenal. I ordered a lot of food for my family. Birriera plate, crunchy tacos, spider tacos, and regular birriera tacos, consome, and the mango drink and horchata. It was so good we all had to share to get a taste of it all. The crunchy tacos have a perfect crunch, the spider tacos have a layer of crispy cheese that sounds weird to me but it worked wonderfully and was absolutely delicious, the plate came with beans and rice and a ton of meat. You might want to ask for 2-4 extra little tortillas to use up all the meat they give you. I was so impressed. The consome is so amazing I’ll never eat a taco the same again and if ever eat one without consome I’ll be missing it for certain. And the 8oz cup of it is plenty for at least 2 people maybe even more depending on how much they dip and how much they eat. The horchata was really good just make sure to stir it if you drive it home and if you order the mango drink and order take out pay very close attention to it because the glass bottle they put in it makes it a little unbalanced and it spilt in my car. I was mad at first but the food was so good I can’t help but be in an awesome mood. The workers work hard as well and deserve a good tip. I was overpriced and underfed. I got the pdx sampler which basically ended up being the same item being made four different ways so I wasn’t too impressed and it wasn’t as flavorful and it was sooo hyped up to be. I will say though that the fries we ordered were really good and the best part of the meal and if I ever decide to go waste my money again that’s definitely what I will be getting myself but only if they have guacamole because of course my first time there and they’re out of it lol! So overall I’m not sure if I would suggest going there. I probably wouldn’t. I know of another taco truck literally two minutes down the street for the fraction of the cost, literally I payed $30 for two people here and at the other taco truck down the street I’d maybe need $12 at the most for two people (for me only $5 or $6) and they are way most and they have so many more meat to choose from where it’s just beef and I believe maybe you can get goat if you ask for it or that might be a rumor/myth lol. All in all I’m the kind of person who likes to say I’ve tried a place once or seen that movie once so in the ends it’s up to you but I don’t have thirty dollars to just go spending on fast food, that amount for just me alone would have been like four or five meals so it was a lot to spend at once so you be the choice. It took far too long for my order. I got my food and somehow it seemed so stale. The quality control is a hit or miss. . Being Salvadoran and married to a Mexican they seemed quite disrespectful to more light skinned Hispanics. Felt like they hated me. . The music is so loud none of the ladies taking the orders and handing them out can’t hear what ppl are saying. On top of that they speak so quiet its hard to hear them too, but then they get annoyed when customers ask them to repeat themselves like as if they didn’t just say “what” multiple times themselves. So disrespectful. . I couldn’t hear my total and they only offered text options for a receipt. I was missing an item by the end of it all but the receipt didn’t itemize my purchase so it was difficult explaining what was missing and they kept not hearing me due to the loud music. . The lady that handed out my order basically tossed the bag out and shut the window in my face like she was doing everything to avoid customers. I’ve been here before and even my husband thought they were worth coming back to every once and awhile, but nothing special. After this last experience I will never come back to this establishment. They’re definitely a novelty to a lot of people but I can’t stand rude service especially...
