We've driven past this place for years but never stopped in until last night as a second option because the Mexican restaurant we frequent was closed, and I'm glad we did. Very good prices for some very delicious food! I had the Pollo Asado and they definitely delivered. The chicken was fall-off-the-bone tender, the rice and beans perfect, and the flour tortillas looked like were homemade. I chose the red salsa (not the hottest), and the smokiness and the heat level were right on. Next time I will be trying the hottest they have. They also threw in a bag of Pico that paired wonderfully with the dinner. My kids had Nachos and Tacos Dorados and my wife had Nachos de Papas; all were pleased with their choices. There was some confusion as to part of our order we thought we were getting (my fault, really), but they were super helpful and apologetic and got it to us very quickly. They were working very hard to keep all customers happy (those eating in, those at the counter, and drive up window were all being served by one person), and so I made sure to give a generous tip. We will definitely be back simply for the good prices and good...

I walked in to the waitress wiping down a table, always a good sign. Used the restroom, was clean (had to go around the building to get to it). Got a burrito here, they make it with cilantro and not lettuce, thank God. They specialty made my burrito with avocados and deseeded, fresh jalapenos on my request. They dont have the largest selection of mexican soda, but they had some and they had horchata, a red drink and a yellow drink in a continuously running fountain machine thing. The food was so damn good. This isnt the most upscale place, but it doesnt matter and the tables were a nice shade of wood that matched the seats. My food came out pretty quick. The place was clean, woman was nice and honest, food delicious. I came all the way from Vancouver for this, yummmm. Thank you :) the only thing that irritated me was it seemed slightly windy in there so my bangs were annoying me but its likely to circulate air so it doesnt mattee to me and is a good thing. Just proves theyre on top of their shi....hm i wonder what the loud noise i...

First time here. I decided to come here based off of the good reviews posted here.

Great food. The portions are fair for the price. Had the Al Pastor burrito. You can get a big al carte burrito for $4, you get meat, rice and cheese. It's $6 for a burrito, with rich beans, sour creams, lettuce, tomato, and avocado The meat was seasoned well. Inside is kind of small, and wasn't clean, but I came in at a busy time, so it was certainly excusable. This places food flavor, and menu has a similar feel to Don Pedros except for it's just a small mom and pop place. The lady at the counter was very nice. The guys in the back work hard, and made the food in less than 5 minutes. I was impressed. I will definitely come here again, but I will get...

Personally, I don’t like sour cream soaked quesadillas... there should be a better way of packing this. My food was soggy and luke warm. I was really disappointed. Also, there drive thru service could be improved. A lot. I get that it’s drive thru so it needs to be fast. However a “hi how’s it going, what would you like?” Is better than a blank stare and “what do you want?”. Also the wait for drive thru is basically sit down wait, so don’t expect it to be faster. I hate don pedros so I was hoping this would be my new go to for mexican food. Oh well.

I was driving along, feeling hungry this morning and decided I had a hankering for a chorizo breakfast burrito. Is spot was on my way home so I stopped. The burrito was delicious. Their green sauce was awesome and I am always so happy to get a serving of those pickled carrots, onions, and jalapeños. All of this with a refreshing Mexican Coke hit the spot. Probably the best breakfast burrito I’ve had in a very long time!

I will say that I would give this joint a solid 3.5 stars. It’s pretty decent, much better than most of what you’ll find in Portland proper. I had the lengua tacos., which were pretty darn satisfying. They also came out quick and I was very impressed with their salsa bar. The place looks clean and is quite busy. I will be back, jack.
